Wu-Tang Clan on Tour
Considered by many to be the greatest hip-hop group of all time, Wu-Tang Clan have been touring as a unit since their debut record — Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) — came out in 1993. The now triple-platinum release vaulted the New York City group with songs like "C.R.E.A.M." (Cash Rules Everything Around Me) and "Protect Ya Neck" that are about as recognizable as anything in the rap canon.
Their live sets are a family affair, with every member of the crew representing their lyrical contributions to the Wu's eight studio albums, as well as notable cuts from the Wu-Tang solo discography. With the omnipresent Wu-Tang "W" flanking all angles of the stage, there's a familiarity to Wu-Tang Clan's music that gives their shows unique mass appeal.
Whether they're delivering the 36 Chambers record front to back on the album's 25th Anniversary Tour, or tracks from GZA's seminal Liquid Swords and Raekwon's mafioso-minded Only Built 4 Cuban Linx..., or honoring the legacy of their departed brother, Ol' Dirty Bastard, every Wu-Tang Clan show is a celebration of prolific careers as individuals and especially as the most storied group in hip-hop history.
Wu-Tang Clan Background
Founded in New York City's Staten Island in the early 1990s, the Wu-Tang Clan is comprised of members RZA, GZA, Method Man, Raekwon, Ghostface Killah, U-God, Masta Killa, Inspectah Deck, Cappadonna, and the deceased Ol' Dirty Bastard (ODB). Their name is a reference to a 1983 martial arts film.
Led by the production of RZA, samples from martial arts films have thematically appeared throughout the group's music, as have samples of classic funk and soul tracks from artists like Rick James, James Brown, and Syl Johnson. As a group, Wu-Tang Clan have three platinum albums among their eight LPs, and the group's complete anthology (including solo albums) has more than 85 full-length releases. More than just rappers, Wu-Tang Clan are entrepreneurs and successful cultural influencers, with an empire that features everything from clothing lines and video games to books and acting credits.

Great seats last minute. My oldest wanted to go and I was alittle hesitant cause I've seeing them already. But I'm glad I went. Great show!!!
Wu tang and Nas were killer. The stage, the show and performers were amazing. I was really happy I didn’t got guns n roses across the street instead. The Nas-Wu show killed it.
This was Hip Hop Royalty at its best! The stage designer deserves major props. The sequence and timing of each performance was exceptional! The fact that each performer was able to have appropriate sound equipment with no impacts to each other’s cadence… exemplary! My only gripe was that the crowd was not diverse and therefore were just observers. For us true connoisseurs of Hip Hop, we brought the energy and paid mad respect. I plan to travel to the Las Vegas show. Much Love & Respect to the Hip Hop Legends for bringing greatness to Portland!
Was an amazing show. One of the best rap concerts I’ve been to in a long time.
Good gig, good tunes but a lot of the songs you couldn’t hear what they were rapping or saying
Experience of a lifetime! Appreciate the energy and time of everyone involved in this Golden production! peace ✌️
Great performance great production. Sound system and visual graphics was awesome
We could barley hear nas and wutang due to the heavy bass. Also changing drinks into plastic cups was annoying as one attendee spilt their drink all over me as he was pouring his drink.
Dream come true, I came, I saw, I wept and hollered. Thank you to tha WUFrom De LA Soul to Nas to seeing my man- Method! Ugh, THE BEST EXPERIENCE. I didn't even realize I was there by myself.
Amazing time at the concert would do it all over again
One of the best shows I’ve ever seen. If you love Nas and Wu this is the show for you
Absolutely incredible show in all aspects! I’m very fortunate to have seen this once in a lifetime concert 🔥
BEST SHOW EVER!!!!! Everything about it was awesome, the vibe, the environment, the ENERGY!!!!!
Wu-Tang!!!!! OMG!! What a show, from the stunning visual effects, to having a live band for both Wu-Tang and Nas WOW just WOW!! Wu-Tang played dam near every song that was on my list for the night and then some, and all the members were there too, which I didn’t know who to expect so that was great! Even ODB’s son Young Dirty did a couple ODB tracks!! All in all my expectations were totally exceeded!! Thanks for the amazing night De La Soul, Talib kwali, DJ Scratch, Nas, and especially Wu-Tang!!!! I definitely felt like I was in a New York State of Mind:)
Loved this show! Still beaming a few days later: the energy was unreal and it took me back to my teenage years: very impressed!
The concert was absolutely the best from the performances to the stage
Top 5 best hip hop concerts I've been to...PERIOD. And I've been to some good ones.
This show is an awesome show. Even after all these year these guys still know how to put on a crazy show, so much energy and love. Didnt even touch my seat the whole show
I was in the upper bowl seats. Section 218 row 9 seat 1. The sound engineer did a horrible job in ensuring the sound for people in the upper bowl was clear. You couldn’t hear the artists to well. I have been to plenty of concerts in the upper bowls seats and I can hear the artists clearly. They only had speakers in front of the Artists but nowhere else. (Client feedback. Arena should have surround sound) You can hear the beat more and it didn’t sit right with the ears 👂🏽. Also Rogers Place has 3 big tv screens up in the middle of the arena. You would figure they would put a camera on the artists and put it in the 3 big screen tv’s. Once again I have been to concerts where the artists are on the big screen. To be completely honest. Rogers Place staff and sound engineer did a terrible job for this amazing concert. Next time if you could please find a better sound engineer and ensure you are able to hear the artists clearly over the mic, with their voices over the beat. Not the best over their voices. And also if you can place the Artists on the 3 big screen tv’s.
