Wu-Tang Clan on Tour
Considered by many to be the greatest hip-hop group of all time, Wu-Tang Clan have been touring as a unit since their debut record β Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) β came out in 1993. The now triple-platinum release vaulted the New York City group with songs like "C.R.E.A.M." (Cash Rules Everything Around Me) and "Protect Ya Neck" that are about as recognizable as anything in the rap canon.Β
Their live sets are a family affair, with every member of the crew representing their lyrical contributions to the Wu's eight studio albums, as well as notable cuts from the Wu-Tang solo discography. With the omnipresent Wu-Tang "W" flanking all angles of the stage, there's a familiarity to Wu-Tang Clan's music that gives their shows unique mass appeal.Β
Whether they're delivering the 36 Chambers record front to back on the album's 25th Anniversary Tour, or tracks from GZA's seminal Liquid Swords and Raekwon's mafioso-minded Only Built 4 Cuban Linx..., or honoring the legacy of their departed brother, Ol' Dirty Bastard, every Wu-Tang Clan show is a celebration of prolific careers as individuals and especially as the most storied group in hip-hop history.Β
Wu-Tang Clan Background
Founded in New York City's Staten Island in the early 1990s, the Wu-Tang Clan is comprised of members RZA, GZA, Method Man, Raekwon, Ghostface Killah, U-God, Masta Killa, Inspectah Deck, Cappadonna, and the deceased Ol' Dirty Bastard (ODB). Their name is a reference to a 1983 martial arts film.Β
Led by the production of RZA, samples from martial arts films have thematically appeared throughout the group's music, as have samples of classic funk and soul tracks from artists like Rick James, James Brown, and Syl Johnson. As a group, Wu-Tang Clan have three platinum albums among their eight LPs, and the group's complete anthology (including solo albums) has more than 85 full-length releases. More than just rappers, Wu-Tang Clan are entrepreneurs and successful cultural influencers, with an empire that features everything from clothing lines and video games to books and acting credits.

Everyones performance was amazing!!! I hope they add on some more dates...i need to see this again!!!!
Hit me like a stun gun to the eardrum. The Wu is back.
This concert was so turned up and the visuals were very appealing. I experienced Wu-Tang and I'm going to say that in their hey day I wasn't the biggest fan; but they changed my mind with this show. I came for Nas which is definitely Hip Hop's finest and he definitely delivered. The fact that he is still informing us and not cursing at us is so refreshing. Ol Skool hip hop OG's that really showed up and showed out! Worth the wait and Worth the $$
This was one of the best birthday presents ever from my husband!!! I missed Wu last year when they came through Naptown, my city, but my baby said not this year & we drove to Chicago, to see them at the United Center. I felt just like a little kid, eyes all big & glossy...maaaan, it was truly an experience & for all of the Clan to be present was trrrruuuulllly something special...I love Nas & he put on an exceptional show & I couldn't imagine anyone else on the ticket with Wu, butttt my Wu Tang is FOREVER!!!! And definitely is for the children!!! The Wu Tang Clan are true icons (so is Nas) who continue to gain new generations of fans...my youngest daughter is 11 & knows almost every word on 36 Chambers...Blessings, upon blessings, upon blessings to the Wu & Nas!!!
Fantastic show. Excellent staff. This show is definitely in my top 5 of all time!
This show was amazing! You could see RZA's creativity and genius through the whole show. And of course the best MC's to ever rock the microphone, spitting straight fire for over 2 hours. live DJ's and a live band gave it that extra energy. It was worth the 3 hour drive. Wu Tang forever!
This concert was Epic! It exceeded my expectations by farπ
It was an amazing show. NO COMPLAINTS. The venue and 3rd party handling VIP horrible. At no point should I pay for VIP AND ONLY get to experience it for 2 hour prior to a show and thatβs it. VIP should come with a full service bar or some service it was absolutely nothing on the floor for anybody. I would never pay for VIP again if that means I have to show up 2 hours before the dj even play music.
I purchased the tickets back in March for my wifeβs birthday, which was on the day of the concert. Wu-Tang and Nas did the dam thing. The vibes were good, and I loved seeing the genuine love between them. I made my day knowing my wife enjoyed birthday by seeing one of the best groups perform.
Yo. The RZA, The GZA, YDB, Cappa, Inspectah, Ghost, Method, The Chef, U-God. Holdin' it down. Bong bong. Wu-Tang forever!
Great show period. Nas was clean with his music but it was CLASSIC! Wu Tang 4EVER.
WOW I have been to a lot of shows but nothing compares! We were apart of history celebrating 50 years of Hip Hop and wow what a show! Completely blown away by that evening of Hip Hop thank you De La Soul, Talib Kweli, Nas & Wu-Tang for memories that will last forever!
Iβm a sad to say that my wuTang experience was not great. I feel like the sound quality was really bad. Too much mic noise, not enough of the actual instrumental came through, to the point I didnβt know what song they were performing at times. Too much yelling over each other. Whomp whomp.
Outstanding show from start to finish!!! DeLa starting it off was fire! Seeing Wu~Tang in full clan action (YDB) Banger after Banger!!! Nas was in New York State of mind catalogue performance! 50years!!!! Rick Flair!
Wu tang and Nas were awesome and de la soul too. Very entertaining show
Performance was as expected given everyone's age. Method Man carried the show. Nas was great but he ran out of breathe towards the end. SOUND MIXING WAS HORRIBLE. Way too much bass, although it may have been by design, because some artists were barely hitting half their words.

This concert was the best! I felt like I was there right in the early 90s. The DJ sets were great. Young Dirty was a great addition to represent his father's work. Every artist gave a phenomenal performance. Most def one of my fav concerts.
I was impressed with the sound quality where I was sitting. The low bass sounds were unlike any other sound system I'd heard before. Loved seeing all the super fans who knew all the lyrics. Length of show was good and hard to complain about anything about the show.
