The Louisiana-born singer, songwriter, producer and actor has won three Grammy Awards, 16 Academy of Country Music awards and 11 Country Music Association awards and released three top country songs of the year, according the Billboard, with 1997’s "It's Your Love" (with Faith Hill) and "Just to See You Smile,” and 2004’s "Live Like You Were Dying." Across 31 Top 40 singles on the Billboard Hot 100, McGraw reached a career-peak No. 3 with his crossover Nelly collaboration “Over and Over” in 2004. McGraw has also become one of the highest grossing live acts of all-time, headlining over a dozen successful country tours including multiple installments of the Soul2Soul Tour with his wife and fellow country superstar, Faith Hill. Tim McGraw was awesome!! Never went to a country music concert before and glad I chose his as my first.
To whom it may concern: I am writing this letter because my wife and I have been a fan of Tim McGraw since he came out with Indian Outlaw. My wife who has never been that much into music heard him on the radio and asked me to find out about him. She was struck. We have all his albums and have attended many of his concerts ( the one in his home town with the ball game and concert, several in Las Vegas, Kentucky, Chicago) just to name a few. We bought our tickets for Nashville last year not knowing if we would be able to make it. My wife and I have both had health issues. Around March of this year we were doing better and were really looking forward to the concert. The concert was at 7:00. We got there around 6:30 and waited. He usually has on someone before him and is usually on an hour or so after that. They were Abby Anderson and Carly Pearce. The audio and the echo was so high my wife and I put tissue in our ears and still couldn’t understand what they were singing. At 8:45 Tim finally came out and with the crowd standing up you couldn’t see plus the lights show was so blinding it made things worse. My wife was upset and we left at 9:00. I get this notice on my phone that there will be photos from the concert that you can download. When I check it out the photos were only connections to souvenirs to buy stuff. When I told my wife she said we will never go to another of his concerts which disappointed me because she was such a big fan. Tim is a huge talent and it’s a shame that this is what it’s become. Country just isn’t country anymore.
From the time that Tim McGraw hit the stage he didn't stop! He had great special effects.and LED screens that were amazing! It was a great night to see a legend!
I wasn’t that impressed with the concert. The stage setup could have been better. No side screens for people in the upper level to see. The hanging props blocked most of the view from section 201.
THIS WAS THE BEST SHOW I HAVE EVER BEEN TOO AND I REALLY LOVE TIM MCGRAW!! NEXT TIME WILL BE VIP WITH MEET AND GREET! I CANT WAIT TO SEE HIM AGAIN!!
Tim McGraw is the best I absolutely loved the show and will definitely come again if he comes back
Tim was awesome but I could not see him. There was a group of people who stood up in front of me for the entire time! I couldn’t believe they thought it was ok to stand up and block all the other people behind them. I think I’ve gone to my last concert!!!
Tim McGraw puts on a great show! Loved his performance! Wish it was a little longer, but still a great show.
It was a great concert! Tim was so good. The crowd was great, which I felt pumped Tim up and made things get crazy So much fun. This was my 20th time to see Tim and was one of the best. Loved the play List. However as many of the concerts at PPG that I have been too If the band is loud the acoustics are HORRIBLE. I wish PPG would do something about it.
One of the best concerts that I have attended. Sound, lighting fantastic. Tim McGraw put on a fantastic concert. Would see again in a heartbeat. Would recommend to everyone attending this concert.
Obviously I love Tim McGraw and think he’s an entertaining performer. Overall I enjoyed this concert but it could’ve been better. I did enjoy the stage set up with how far Tim comes out into the audience, the visuals on the screen, and the setlist. I also personally like how Tim doesn’t talk a lot between songs. Now for the things I didn’t enjoy… it was very difficult to hear Tim singing over the music for the first few songs. Also, I don’t know why the shortened version of “Over and Over Again” had to be played again. He sang the shortened version when I last saw him in 2022. There are so many other great full length songs he could’ve performed instead. For “Highway Don’t Care” it would’ve been more enjoyable if Carly Pearce had come out and sang Taylor Swift’s part too. I don’t want to listen to a recording of someone singing, which leads me to my next point. After the concert, my mom mentioned that she thought Tim was lip syncing. We weren’t close enough to tell but she thought his singing sounded more like a recording. I didn’t give it much thought until I looked at other reviews here and saw a few others said that as well and then I see these sound issues are happening in arenas throughout the country. When I see this feedback, it makes me wonder if these sound issues are intentional. I hope it isn’t true as concert tickets aren’t cheap these days and concert goers deserve to see and hear high quality performances. I still love Tim though and hope the sound issues improve as the tour goes on!
Tim McGraw was great!! But the sound system at PPG Pittsburgh was aweful!! It echoed through out the entire venue. I feel like they tried fixing it but it was bad.
Up close and personal also great preforming even the stars opening,Tim rocked the burgh!!!!
As an avid concert enthusiast, and have saw many concerts at this venue. I have been less than impressed. Ever since Food City has sponsored the venue. It has changed. First experience after the name change was my seats had been changed. No notification of the seat change. Was suprised when my ticket wouldn’t scan. It was then that I was informed of the change. This last event. I have a bad knee, and utilize the elevator to get from the ground floor. To the main floor where the concessions are located. I always leave the show early to beat the traffic. When I went to leave, and was walking to the elevator. I was informed by an Axis employee. That I wasn’t allowed to use the elevator. That I had to use the stairs. That’s 3 flights of stairs they expected me to climb. With limited mobility with my knee. I walk with a limp, because of the problem with that knee. So it was plainly a visible condition. They finally reluctantly allowed me to use the elevator. However….i will not be going to any more concerts at this venue. Way to many changes, and none of them for the good.
Tim was so good. Kept us entertained. He still got it!!!!
I loved every minute of it. I was very upset at people in front of me that stood up most of the time.I am not a country fan but I enjoyed every minute of it. When he is close I will go see him again.
It was a wonderful show, everyone was very helpful.
Sound system too loud. Trouble hearing the true voice of the artist.
Excellent show from first to last song. Tim McGraw put on a helluva good show.
Tim Mcgraw and Carly Pierce was great. Bridgestone arena need some work With their seating, people doesn't have room to get there. Big butts in the seats. And if you do, you are scrogged and you don't have any knee room. Your knees start hurting.
