Tim McGraw has sold more than 80 million records worldwide and dominated country music for over three decades with 17 No. 1 Top Country Albums and a cumulative 73 weeks spent atop the Hot Country Songs chart. The Louisiana-born singer, songwriter, producer and actor has won three Grammy Awards, 16 Academy of Country Music awards and 11 Country Music Association awards and released three top country songs of the year, according the Billboard, with 1997’s "It's Your Love" (with Faith Hill) and "Just to See You Smile,” and 2004’s "Live Like You Were Dying." Across 31 Top 40 singles on the Billboard Hot 100, McGraw reached a career-peak No. 3 with his crossover Nelly collaboration “Over and Over” in 2004. McGraw has also become one of the highest grossing live acts of all-time, headlining over a dozen successful country tours including multiple installments of the Soul2Soul Tour with his wife and fellow country superstar, Faith Hill. My friend and I had an amazing time at the concert. It was the best concert we have been to. He put on a great show! We loved every second of it!
Previous Tim McGraw concert was excellent. Execution on this one - poor. Lights from above stage and suspended from ceiling were frequently flashing white and yellow brightly in your eyes so you could not see well. Blue and purple lasers beams were also directed toward our area in your eyes. I spent a good amount of time trying to avoid being blinded. There is no need to flash bright lights from the stage or suspended areas toward the audience. Lasers should be directed toward the ceiling and/or the upper deck support. The sound quality was also poor. The base and drums volume frequently overwhelmed Tim's voice making it difficult to hear the words being sung. I put in ear plugs to help absorb the lower frequency sounds which helped on the louder songs. In addition, there was a slight vibration harmonic being transmitted. The videos were pretty good and added to the experience. The two opening acts, Abby Anderson and Carly Pearce, performed very well, started on time, and had great rapport with the audience. The sound level for these two acts needed to be reduced too. Overall, we enjoyed this event, but it was not as good as when Tim and Faith were in Knoxville last time - mostly because of these execution issues. .
VERY disappointed that our view was obstructed by cables running from floor to ceiling. There was nothing on Ticketmaster letting us know there would be an object in our line of vision when I purchased the tickets. I hope others in our area will complain as well. Aisle seats, almost center stage should be ideal but not at this venue. I had even checked the venue site and did a “seat view” before purchasing the tickets. I know each artist sets up their sound and stage differently but the cables from the sound booth to the ceiling bundled together is not a good set up. I have pictures to show how obstructing the cables were. I think I should get a partial refund from Ticketmaster due to what should have been a prime view of the stage being blocked.
This concert was incredible! The graphics, lighting, visual screens and sound all were amazing! I’ll definitely see Tim McGraw again!
When my daughter was 10 years old, I took her to see Tim McGraw in Roanoke, Virginia. I have seen him a couple times since then but now my grandson is 11 years old and we got the privilege of seeing him the other night it was amazing! We enjoyed the entire show, Tim even shook my grandson’s hand. It was even more special as I got to take my daughter to her first concert and then take her son to his first concert and it was Tim McGraw. Thank you so much.
Amazing show! Both Tim and Carly were fantastic. Excellent lighting affects!
Tim was great. The only problem the concert was over by 10:15pm and he didn’t perform his older songs that made him. He ended the concert with his saddest songs.
The Standing Room tour was great. Tim and Carly both put on a great show.
He was so great. Not really any breaks between songs. Great show. Can’t wait to see him again.
Show was fantastic. The production value was off the chart. Stage, lighting, and unbelievable videography. That plus a great catalog of music. You'd be hard pressed to find a better show. The crowd was great. A good time had by all. Took my 12 year old Granddaughter. Was here first concert. She was blown away and loved it.
Good concert.... light show was great... we were in the 300 section viewing was limited and the drunk people in front if us blocked our view most of concert...... but Tim was energetic and entertaining as always ......
Five stars on the great performance by Tim McGraw. Four stars on the over all experience. Could have lowered the volume on the music so that we could hear Tim 's vocals better. Great experience except for the venue. The pre-paid parking ($31) at Thompson-Bolling Food City was a disaster. It took us over an hour and twenty minutes to park and another 45 minutes to get on the road after the concert.
Our seats were great we could see Tim McGraw and he put on an EXCELLENT CONCERT!! I know Faith was there it would have been great had she surprised us and came out and done a song with him!!
Tim McGraw was absolutely amazing! He sounded incredible & knows how to work a stage!
The band was playing so loud that it was difficult to hear Tim McGraw sing during the first few songs. It seemed to get better towards the end of the show. GREAT stage show.
I’m so tired of going to concerts where the crew doesn’t understand how to mix vocals and music. The vocals should not be drowned out by the music. It can be done—perhaps Brad Paisley’s crew should be consulted by so very many artists.
A lot of fun and it was my 10 year first concert and he love it
One of the best concerts ever. Did not disappoint.
Best concert I been to in a while. Loved every min of it
The seats were great and the show was the best concert we have seen.
