The Beach Boys Concert Schedule

As vanguards of the California surf rock sound belting out beach-themed, summertime lyrics backed by harmonized vocals, the Beach Boys personify surf culture, popularizing it worldwide. This garbage band-turned-pop legends are influences for derivative rock music, such as punk rock and garage rock, and musical artists and groups, including Paul McCartney and R.E.M. The Beach Boys North American tour of 2017-2018 features music from the group's compilation album, 1967 - Sunshine Tomorrow, which was released in June 2017. This album includes unreleased songs and live recordings, including "Wild Honey" and "California"-- a Billboard chart-topping rock 'n' roll hit. Expect to hear other tour music from this musical group's other popular albums, including Pet Sounds, Summer Days (And Summer Nights!!), Surfin' U.S.A. , and All Summer Long. Some of the group's previous tours are the 2012 50th Reunion Tour, and 2016 Pet Sounds 50th Anniversary World Tour. The Beach Boys live concert experience involves listening to the glossy vocal harmonizing in the signature California rock tunes the group is known for alongside a live band playing the relaxing, psychedelic sounds from hits such as "Surfin' U.S.A." and "Barbara Ann." The Beach Boys' accolades stretch decades, including multiple Grammy Award nominations for "Good Vibrations" in 1967, a 1989 Grammy Award nomination for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals for "Kokomo," a 2001 Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award, and Hall of Fame inductions in 1994 for "Good Vibrations" and in 2017 for "I Get Around." Check out The Beach Boys concert tour dates to see this classic American rock 'n' roll group live.

The Beach Boys Background

Hailing from the Southern California city of Hawthorne, The Beach Boys got their start in the early 1960s as teens in a garage band when the founders and original members, Brian Wilson, Al Jardine, Mike Love, Carl Wilson and Dennis Wilson, began singing psychedelic tunes encouraged by the Wilson brothers' parents to perform music. The Beach Boys draw their cultural and musical influences from their Southern California teen beach life and R&B and rock 'n' roll legends, including Chuck Berry and Johnny Otis. Later joined by members David Marks and Bruce Johnston, The Beach Boys continued to influence the public sphere as innovators of the California rock music genre.

Great concert. The lead singer was fantastic and brought back all of the original sounds of The Beach Boys. Mike Love still performs to perfection. Highly recommend!

    So,so and once was enough

by CA on 4/29/24Talking Stick Resort - Scottsdale

We were given the tickets from a friend. It was our first time at the venue so didn’t know what to expect. The stage, monitors and seating were good. The band was good however the music was so loud that it was hard to hear the lyrics. A nice surprise was John Stamos joining the band.

    to loud

by Janeane on 4/29/24Talking Stick Resort - Scottsdale

The music was great, but I think things went a little to fast. The seats were very crowded together. The way the speakers were located the music was to loud. It was just blasting at us and the words to the songs were hard to hear. Not sure I will ever go to that venue again.

Seats were great. Had trouble getting my tickets up on my phone due to me not remembering password. Went to box office and got paper tickets. Every thing went fine.

    Great Great Great

by Jester on 4/29/24Talking Stick Resort - Scottsdale

Loved the Beach Boys concert in Scottsdale Az. I have heard them many times over the years in several different versions. This one had Mike Love and Bruce Johnston. The guys that were in the band were all phenomenal especially John Wedermeyer on guitar and the musical director Brian Eichenberger. John Stamos was an added plus as he played drums some, guitar and sang a song. Mike Love's son also played guitar and sang. Venue was packed, standing room only. The one thing I always like about the Beach boys shows are of course their music, but like that there are all ages in attendance and everyone has a great time and sing the words to every song. It puts a good feeling in your heart and everyone has a great time. Hope they come back soon.

    Fabulous High-Energy Entertainmnet!

by JJofScottsdale on 4/29/24Talking Stick Resort - Scottsdale

Great concert by The Beach Boys with John Stamos. Amazing energy - they went almost 2 full hours without a break. The multimedia backgrounds were terrific. They sang all the hits plus selections from the Ramones, Mamas and Papas etc. only things that could have been better were seating and acoustics. Hey Talking Stick, how about puttin in a real theater venue and having more concerts? As you could see, this one was packed! Many of us don’t want to have to trek over to Glendale or down to South Tempe for concerts!

    Beach Boys were almost great

by Deb on 4/29/24Talking Stick Resort - Scottsdale

Loved the music, loved the energy, absolutely loved John Stamos! But…Mike Love almost ruined the entire show when he introduced and then brought the ELECTION DENIER KARI LAKE OUT on stage. What an insult to the crowd.😖

    Disappointing!

by Skinner on 4/29/24Talking Stick Resort - Scottsdale

I had this on my bucket list, but their performance proved you can never go back. If you didn’t see them in concert in the 70’s or twenty years ago, forget it. This concert proved , you can never go back! It’s not just their age, but many times they sang and played out of tune/key. They brought John Stamos with them for added energy, but it fell short and their biggest mistake was cooing over the most controversial political figure in Arizona history, which brought a loud combination of boos and half hearted cheers. Worst concert ever!!!
