Yogi was a great tour guide. We saw a lot of behind the scenes areas. We learned a lot about the history. We have a six year old, and he was highly engaged through the tour.
Our host was amazing. He was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and friendly. The venue is amazing and worth the visit. We had the privilege of seeing the set up of the Billy Joel concert which was a real treat. The signage to enter the stadium and join the tour was shocking. The tour group was also way to too big thus making it hard to keep up and or hear the information. Overall the tour was great
We were told on the day that due to an event being staged that evening, there would be not back stage tour of dressing rooms etc. As such, the majority of the tour was seeing the arena and exhibits that are all open to anyone visiting MSG for an event. As such, quite a disappointing tour.
My first time at the Madison Square Garden and it was wonderful ! Great to have so many information and anecdotes !
The tour was awesome and fun. I also enjoyed seeing the Knicks and Rangers locker rooms. But the highlight of the tour was Marilyn Monroe singing to JFK.
We did our tour with Eric. He was brilliant, really knowledgeable and made it really fun! Great experience, would highly recommend!
This was a great experience. You get to see pretty much the entirety of the MSG spaces, including Sports Teams rooms. The history of the venue is equally impressive and they make such an effort to document this all over the Garden. The knowledge of our tour guide was equally impressive and he was incredibly informative and provided a lot of great insight and opinions. If there was a question asked that he didn't know the answer to he found out the information for us. This is my 2nd time doing the tour in 7 years and would always recommend it to visitors to NYC
Was very good with a great tour guide. Just felt a bit rushed at times
Tour guide was great, but most of the tour is something you can do if you get to an event at MSG early. Theres a timeline and exhibits which are interesting, but again you can look at these at any MSG event, the explanations behind the exhibits were a bit rushed and not all of them had any explanations behind them (you get a fleeting look at them as you are pushed forward). The team locker rooms were good, but you only get to peek your head in up to the rope, and its about 10 seconds you get to look and take pictures. No hint of any away team lockers. The suites were okay, but again this wasnt very ‘behind the scenes’ experience that was sold to us. For the access all areas that we thought we were getting, you cant help but walk away feeling a little disappointed that you were oversold. It would be so much better if you could sit on the players benches, or understand more of the history of MSG. Again, the tour guide was very good given the tools they had (limited time and limited access)
Brian was a fantastic guide, clearly passionate about MSG and all the events that happened over the years. He was engaging, spirited and very warm. He is a fabulous ambassador for Madison Square Garden.
It was amazing to see all behind the scenes of this incredible space. The guide was great explaning a lot of details and showing the best spots of the Madison Square Garden. We had a wonderful time and it's definitely a tour worthwile.
Very interesting visit for what Madison Square Garden means, and the guide was great!
Overall the experience during my tour was pretty good and would recommend if it's it been some time since seeing MSG and/or would like to take a look around at an off-peak time when it's not as crowded prior to an event. I did my tour during the summer, so we were able to get a view of the lockerooms for the Knicks and the Rangers, which some visitors that did a tour during the season were commenting that they were not able to see. So my recommendation would be to keep in mind what's happening at MSG when you book your tour to help gauge what your experience might be!
We truly enjoyed this tour! My son is a huge NYR fan. He loved that he got to see the Rangers dressing room.
The Madison Square Garden All Access Tour was a great time! Even though I've been to MSG many times in my life for concerts, I learned so much on the tour. It was really cool getting to go to different parts of the arena (many of which I've never been) from the floor to the sky bridges and the locker rooms to the suites. Our tour guide Brian was amazing! He was so knowledgable, personable, animated, and funny. He shared a lot of interesting information and cool stories about sports and music legends who played at MSG. Brian even caught on that my friends and I are big Harry Styles fans, and he purposely took us to the sky bridge where we could see Harry's residency banner up close. He also answered any the questions the people on the tour had. Give Brian a raise and take the tour!
Since I am from Europe I do not have a chance to watch live NBA. This tour was great - seeing where it all happens. But still I am dissapointed because the basketball floor was not there and it ruined it for me. It was set up for a concert. And just an idea - I am sure people would gladly pay more for a chance for one shoot at the hoop. I know I would.
Our guide was so enthusiastic! We were surprised how small the Rangers and Knicks locker rooms were. Loved the tour... just wished it was longer.
Excellent tour guide with a lot of enthusiasm. Big thanks to “Yogi” who made our tour super. We had to see almost the entire arena with info about hockey, basket, boxing, and concerts. In the end you could make a stop at the fan shop of Rangers and Knicks. I really recommend this tour.
It was a very good experience! Every thing was very good and que guide person was very fun.
