Susie established immediate rapport with the audience. She kept me laughing the entire time. Reminiscent of old-time Jewish stand-ups but with a contemporary twist. Ad-libbed with audience members and did some very raunchy material. She also told hilarious anecdotes about her family members & did spot-on impressions of them. Threw in a few very funny anecdotes about her teenaged stepchildren. Her material is very easy to relate to, has something for everyone, and is simply hilarious. I was disappointed that she didn't mention "Curb Your Enthusiasm" but I guess she's moved on from that.

Zero stars is not option therefore 1 star

by ExNYrkers on 3/31/14Wilbur Theatre - Boston

What a waste of money. She was unprepared, relying on mostly on vulgarity, note cards with silly lists, very poor working the audience, weak trying to incorporate audience, only a couple of jokes were funny and they were recycled (NYT 2009 interview and NPR interview we read and heard before show). No wonder she had all her relatives there, she needed room filler. Told audience she had notes because she hadn't performed in over 4 months! Really? In that case develop an act while performing for free in obscure clubs before going to venues where folks are paying an admission. A hefty admission for zero entertainment value. Sadly we had no "discount" code so payed full price. Outrageous. Refunds please.

She was very funny. I didn't want her to finish. I will go again if she appears in Boston again.

    So much fun

    by MM44mm on 3/31/14Wilbur Theatre - Boston

I see lots of comedy and Susie was as much fun as I've had at a show in some time. Engaging with great stories. First time seeing her. So good.

    Susie-3rd time!!

by CurbLover on 3/31/14Wilbur Theatre - Boston

Susie was amazingly funny as always. Had some new material and some from our previous 2 times seeing her.. but this was okay as it made us laugh all over again. My only disappointment is that she did not do a Q&A as she has done the previous 2 times.

    Susie is better than ever!

    by LNTN22 on 3/31/14Wilbur Theatre - Boston

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed Susie's show in Boston. We needed some comic relief and she gave it to us. You can tell she puts a lot of thought into her craft but also improvises with the audience on the fly. We love that combination. It had been several years since we had seen her live in Boston.

Glad I saw her. A must for Curb fans

by nickboston on 2/15/11Wilbur Theatre - Boston

Having loved Curb Your Enthusiasm on HBO since the very first epicode, Susie is a key part to the show. It was a no brainer to get tickets to see her once I found out about the show. I had recently seen Joan Rivers. Compared to Joan, Susie was not as graphic (I had heard she might come close). She was very charming, engaged the crowd, talked a lot about the show, and even did Q&A at the end. I would certainly go again given the opportunity.
