About

STAIND IN CONCERT:

With three consecutive No. 1 albums of anthemic nu metal in the '00s, Staind became one of the most successful alt-rock groups of the decade.  Blending muscular guitar shredding and singer Aaron Lewis's emotional, melodic lyrics, the band's impressive live shows span their entire discography, treating fans to studio-perfect renditions of their biggest hits alongside alternative, countrified versions of songs like "Mudshovel."

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Formed in Massachusetts in 1994, Staind started out playing hard rock covers in local clubs before self-releasing their 1996 debut Tormented. While they only pressed four thousand copies, the album garnered enough attention to land them a deal with Flip Records and the production assistance of Limp Bizkit's Fred Durst for their 1999 follow-up Dysfunction. The album received favorable reviews and drew comparisons to nu metal legends like Korn, but its reception paled in comparison to 2001's Break the Cycle, an international No. 1 and multi-platinum smash. The band's next four albums would all land in the Top 5 of the Billboard 200, establishing an impressive catalog of hits and building anticipation for the band's rumored return to the studio in 2014.

FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:

"Staind was unbelievable. The band sounded amazing. Aaron's voice gives you chills live. They played everything...They even played quite a few new songs which they totally killed on."

"Staind dug deeply into their classics to get the crowd going. Aaron Lewis was great and seemed to be having fun during an audience participation sequence. Staind played every song I wanted to hear plus more so I left very satisfied."

"I expected a top flight show from Staind and got it...they exceeded my expectations. They had a great mix of hard and soft music; all Staind."

    Staind Seether

by Keylee98 on 5/18/24Oak Mountain Amphitheatre - Birmingham

This is our 2nd time seeing staind at Oak mountain. They are always good. But it sounded like the music was drowning out his voice. It was corrected on the slower songs and he sounded fantastic. Seether was great my first time seeing them. Well 8 didn’t really seee them because there was NO light on them. They were just backlit. So strange. Maybe that’s how they wanted it but thumbs down on that part. I love the oak mountain venue it is so beautiful and an outside venue makes voices and music sound so much better!

    Fantastic Experience

by Tee Elle Gee on 5/17/24FirstBank Amphitheater - Franklin

First Bank Amphitheater has quickly became my favorite place to catch a concert, as Staind and Seether made my second visit to this lovely little town just south of Nashville. That makes a venue I want to support as a native Tennessean. FBA is a 3.5 hr drive for me from East TN, but it is easy on, easy off to reach the destination. Saint Asonia kicked the set off to get the crowd warmed up. I was (shockingly) unfamiliar with this band, but as soon as Adam and the boys started into the Three Days Grace songs, it all came flooding back to me. Great start. Then Seether. I have waited years to see these guys, and they did NOT disappoint. Neither did Staind. I have to admit, when Aaron starts into one of the slower songs, then transitions into the "growl", it will make your hair stand on end. Well worth the wait for my new fave place to catch a show. Kudos!

    Great Show

by Angela Rocks on 5/17/24North Charleston Coliseum - North Charleston

I loved Saint Asonia and thought their set was the best. Seether was really good but one song was off and I felt it could have used a little more energy overall. Staind was good but the sound was so bass forward that it made my chest hurt and the vocals seemed too low. Overall worth going to see the show.

LOVED STAIND! They did not disappoint.

by St on 5/17/24The Wharf Amphitheater - Orange Beach

Loved seeing Staind and they did not disappoint. I don't like that people like myself paid for tickets that were more expensive and other's did not came and sat in front of me. I wished there were a better way to not allow this to happen at any and all venues. It just isn't fair.

    THE BEST

by Brooke on 5/17/24The Wharf Amphitheater - Orange Beach

This was the beer concert I have ever been to. And by far the loudest. My ears were ringing afterwards and I have never had a concert do that. 100/10 would go again

They still sound great! So many groups sound terrible live, but Aaron Lewis' vocals and the band, were spot on!!

    It was good.

by Shay on 5/17/24The Wharf Amphitheater - Orange Beach

Don't get me wrong, they are good - I love Aaron Lewis, I've seen him on his solo tour too many times to even count. This tour however, I wasn't crazy about. This was my first time seeing Staind as a group. Felt rushed and they ended the night in an odd way - very abrupt and a hour and 15 mins in. I know the venue has a 11pm noise ordinance and they have to be done by then - but, could have continued a bit longer and not so sharp finish.
