    Rivercats experience

by Roberto on 5/23/22Sutter Health Park - West Sacramento

On the positive side, as a quarter season season ticket holder and a disabled person, I feel that the Rivercats do well in providing good accommodations for the disabled (row 30, wheel chair asistance and generous ticket exchange policy). On the negative side, the cost and variety of the ball park food, the poor internet connection inside the ball park and the extremely poor radio streaming of the daily games (I listen to every game on the radio when not seeing them live in the ballpark) deters from the Rivercats experience. As a knowledgeable fan (I played little league, Babe Ruth league, high school and college ball and semi-professional ball), when your team is winning some of these faults can be overlooked, but when the team develops a losing culture, as in the past two years, it is time to make some changes.

    Legacy Suite

by Adam on 5/23/22Sutter Health Park - West Sacramento

The atmosphere is great, the employees are wonderful… however, my family and I purchased a Legacy Club membership and there seems to be an issue with the buffet, half of the time a majority of the food items are gone. This sold us when it came to purchasing tickets however the buffet has been a disappointment.

    Fun night out

by Amber9 on 5/20/22Sutter Health Park - West Sacramento

We sat on the grass and there was a good amount of space to sit there. A good variety of food. I liked the hand washing stations, too.

Alternative to having a smart phone

by E. M. on 5/13/22Sutter Health Park - West Sacramento

If a senior citizen or economically challenged individual does not have a smart phone, there is currently no alternative way to get a ticket to enter an event. Can there be another way to purchase and print out a ticket?

    Eat before you go!

by Sully on 5/12/22Sutter Health Park - West Sacramento

I love the ballpark; its a great place to watch a game. The parking is easy and smoothly managed by the attendants. Leaving the park was much tougher and took a lot longer. I like the cashless feature. There are not nearly enough food vendors to accommodate the crowd, however. Lines at EVERY food and drink station were at least a half our wait, causing the fan to watch an inning or more on the TV rather than live. Sometimes it's hard to know which line goes to which vendor. We finally went to the sausage kiosk and ordered polish sausages, and got back to our seats before we realized they gave us hot dogs instead. Maybe the food service needs more workers, but that was the worst part of the experience. The fireworks after the game were great for the kids!

    Meh

by BarbaraB on 5/11/22Sutter Health Park - West Sacramento

First, the staff was very friendly and helpful. But that did not help the cold hot dogs and warm beer. Blech. The quality of baseball is great but the sound system is awful. We have tried seats in many parts of the ballpark and can barely understand the announcers. Music is not audible either. Part of the fun is the walk up music for players...nada. Also, the 'jumbotron' was incredible slow at posting stats and changing the graphics for each player. Really expected the River Cats to have a more polished presentation. Very disappointed and not sure we will return.

The game was great and enjoyed the atmosphere.

by Mike on 5/11/22Sutter Health Park - West Sacramento

Everything was great - I do wish, however, the food lines moved a bit better. We waited way too long to order and get our food.

    Long food lines

by Cats fan on 5/11/22Sutter Health Park - West Sacramento

Unfortunately the River Cats lost the game Saturday 5/7. We bought the family pack for 4. 3 of us redeemed our vouchers before the game. I waited to redeem mine because I wasn't hungry. We tried to purchase food from about the second to the fifth inning. We left after the 5th inning to get dinner elsewhere because we didn't want to wait in lines that had 30 plus people.

    Fireworks

Even when the team loses, it's always a great night at the ball park, especially with the fireworks ... Excellent!!!

    Concessions need help

by Courtney on 5/10/22Sutter Health Park - West Sacramento

Let’s start with my family loves attending Rivercats games. The park is beautiful and clean. The staff is always kind. My biggest complaint is the concessions. The lines are insane. I spend more time in line getting food than I do in my seat watching the game. And more times than not, my order is not correct. I stood in line for over an hour at the 5/7 game to get ice cream. I’ve tried to use the online app to order food and it never works. Please hire chick-fil-a to run your concessions. They will get the lines moving and make you more money because fans can make multiple trips to concessions during a game instead of just 1. I want to watch the game and enjoy ballpark food, not stand in line the entire game and not be able to see the game I paid to sit and watch.

    Disappointing

by HawkW on 5/10/22Sutter Health Park - West Sacramento

The River Cats game has always been first class, until now. The first thing noticed were dirty seats. An hour plus wait, literally, for what turned out to be an undercooked hot dog and stale bun. The concession stands were so severly under staffed that the back-up caused lines literally created navigation problem. No inseat vendors execpt for one beer vendor. The speaker system sounded muffled and the center field video board was consistantly one batter behind throughout the game. Even the in game entertainment was a single A level. Ownership needs to figure out how to deliver a better fan experience in this current enviorment.

    Great Game

by Brigid on 5/10/22Sutter Health Park - West Sacramento

We enjoyed our first experience watching the Sacramento River Cats. It was National Little League night so it was fun to see all the young kids there. Great family experience and a very fun and relaxing vibe. I loved how the baseball players would throw the game ball in the stand for the kids. We will definitely be attending more games in the future.

    Crazy/outrageous

by Woody on 5/10/22Sutter Health Park - West Sacramento

Food outrageously priced. First time to a game told to go to booth for first time free swag(given a tin button size of a pop top) crazy. Lines for everything took so long missed 1/2 the game. Had to purchase a see through bag or could not take in items from my purse. Customer service people were friendly. Definitely won’t be back for another game.

a May Day at the Park

by Tahoe Pat on 5/9/22Sutter Health Park - West Sacramento

Got there early for some batting practice, got the infield grooming instead, but a nice walk around the park to see everything, it's been years as I live in South Dakota now. Enjoyed the atmosphere at the park, everybody friendly, bought a hat (later saw a better one - dang!). Had some food and the Bogle wine and a really good fireworks show after. All in all, a pretty good deal and there are no bad seats in the park.

As good as minor league baseball gets

by Phil on 5/9/22Sutter Health Park - West Sacramento

Everyone my wife and I interacted with at the ballpark-- from parking attendants to concession staff through ushers to Dinger, the mascot -- was super-friendly. We had fish and chips and taquitos and cotton candy, and it all was, well, quite edible and not worse than most Major League ballpark fare I've had. The ballpark itself is a gem, with impeccably-groomed grass and infield. \ And the baseball was entertaining. The major difference I've noticed between AAA and the majors is the pitching. AAA fastballs tend to be around 93 and 94, rather than 95 and up -- and there is a lot more wildness.

Game was fun, food not so good

by Rocklin George on 5/8/22Sutter Health Park - West Sacramento

Cats lost but that’s baseball. We order taquitos which were ok; but the loaded nachos weren’t worth the money. Small portion of pork, inadequate amount of cheese. Won’t purchase at that concession again.

    You’ll leave hungry

by JacqE on 4/27/22Sutter Health Park - West Sacramento

Parking was easy. Security to get in was quick. Lines for concessions were insane. ALL lines. We stood in line until the 6th inning to get food and water. By then they’d run out of hot dogs, beer, pasta salad, (other things too according to those in the stands) and all condiments were empty- no ketchup, mustard, relish, mayo. This was the complaint of all of the people seated adjacent to us. If you can’t bring food and drinks in, make food and drink purchase accessible. We won’t go back until they figure things out.
