Rob Lake had several difficulties with the equipment that made it easy to understand the illusions. He also had to tell stories during the show, as his supporting crew were slow to get the equipment ready behind the curtains. The show also started about 30 minutes late. He apologized for that, so I can forgive that.
Overall, our group of four agreed we felt as if we had just attended a high school talent show magician act and believed he is not quiet ready for prime time. Maybe 5-10 more years of practice?
We would have been ok with paying $10 for the show as it seemed raw and unpracticed. I truly believe the illusions are difficult feats, so I give a lot of credit for trying. There were two illusions that went very well and amazed me. The others, not so much.
The female dancers' / supporting crew were also mediocre at best.
For pricing tickets in the $100 range, I expected a much better, well-polished experience.
