Ricky Jay Tickets

Ricky Jay is a national treasure but unfortunately is, in this show, well past his prime. The presentation demonstrates a showman without energy. The effects are second-rate compared to his ability, The comments, while amusing, lack depth. I was disappointed the small amount of magic and illusion there was as a proportion of the show. I would not call this show a " must miss," but I do say that admirers of Ricky Kay's greatness will be disappointed.

I was so excited to see Ricky Jay and been a fan a long time. Although his story telling was still excellent, he was a major disappointment with his magic. He just can't do the things he used to. Not as accurate with any card throwing, had trouble bkendoing decl manipulation with one hand, and many other things. At one point he struggled so much with a trick a woman in the audience actually yelled "You can do it!" To try and give him some confidence to pull of the trick, which he never did. I felt so bad for him. For the price of this ticket I was EXTREMELY disappointed.

Ricky Jay transports you in another space were you feel you could never go by yourself .his effects are beautiful and he is a perfect entertainer. Obligatory master class for all amateur and prof Magicians and entertainers. !!!

I am a fan of magic, and of Ricky Jay. However the performance was awful. He should not be on stage, the routines are stale and he is simply too old. Whoever advises him should be ashamed. Also the Sheen theater (school auditorium is a better description) is totally inappropriate for this kind of show. Finally, the price was much too high for what was, in essence, a slide show.
