Queensrÿche gave a great show. The first 2 albums was amazing to hear.

First time seeing them live in forever. Band was great for what I could hear of ANYTHING but guitar. Barely even hear the drums. Sound guy was behind the board scrolling on his phone the whole damn time! Rarely even looked up from his phone. Ruined the show for me. Really wanted to hear the new singer tear it up and the rest of band as a team. FAIL!!

What a show for me who bought both Armored saints first album and Queensryche The Warning 40years ago. Unable to see them live in the supporting tour being a marine stationed in Japan this made up for it and then some. Seeing this show gave me the chance see the show I'd always wished I'd of been able too. Armored saint Rock the house to start with.Got us all warmed Up and rocking ready it go when queensryche hit the stage. I was a little worried. Without Geoff, but Todd has some serious pipes too now I've got to see this show again.

Have been a fan since the early 80's. The music was spot on but, not the same stage presence that I have seen from them in the past. Have seen with both lead singers, very similar voices. But again somewhat let down by the stage showing. Armored Saint saw them in 84 and was blown away by their sound, haven't missed a beat to this day. Worked the crowd and had a lot of energy throughout the show. Overall had a great time at the show would see them both again.

Didn't know what I would think about Queensryche after so many years since I last seen them (1988). But, this show blew me away. The guitars, drums, and Todd's La Torres voice was just perfection. Awesome show, and I can't wait to see them again.

In 1984, I was listening to The Cars, The Police, Madonna, Michael Jackson, all the pop hits of the time. It wasn't until Empire did I even know of Queensryche. And a bit later when I knew Operation Mindcrime. I saw Queensryche on the list of events, and I thought "cool! I'd like to hear Jet City Woman live!"I had no idea this was a 40 year celebration of their first two releases. While the show was cool (nice lights), it was the first time I had heard any of the songs. Add on top of that, the sound mix was way off. The guitars were too loud, over-powering everything else. I've been to good shows, I've been to poor shows, I know a good sound when it's there. Had I been more familiar with the songs, I probably wouldn't have minded so much. To recap - the show had a good presentation, advertise the 40 year thing so it is obvious (6 years until the celebration for Empire, then?), and improve the sound mix.

They sounded really good but was disppointed by their song selections. I did not know 1 song, guess I was hoping they would sing the songs from the Empire album. Would of loved to at least heard 2 of the songs from that album Jet City Woman and Silent Lucidity.

So it has been quite a while since I have seen Queensryche (honestly going back to the Geoff Tate era) but when I heard that they were coming to Bogarts in Cincinnati and were playing the entire EP & The Warning album, I jumped on tickets immediately. For those like myself that has been a longtime fan of the band, I can tell you that they sound freaking amazing! Todd Latorre has all the vocal range needed to be able to hit all the highs and lows just like Tate did, the band sounds great and it was incredible to be able to hear songs from those albums that I had never heard played live. Especially classics like Take Hold of the Flame and Queen of the Reich. Having Armored Saint as the opener was a great extra treat as they played all their hits and rocked the house!

Great show, just wish they would have played more from Mindcrime and Empire. I understand it was called The Origins tour but only 1 song off the 2 albums that really made them huge back in the day....

Overall I was pretty disappointed with the Queensryche show. They were one of my favorite bands back in the day that I wasn't able to see perform live during their prime. So I was excited to have the opportunity to see them. I figured at this point in their career, their shows would focus on their top hits but that was not the case at this recent show. Although I give them props for presenting the "Origins"theme to cover a couple albums cover to cover, I would have preferred that they include more of their tops hits that they left off the playlist. I was aware of the legality preventing the band from playing Operation: Mindcrime content. It was unfortunate that I couldn't experience the concert with the original lead singer G. Tate as the current vocalist just didn't impress me. Sadly, the opening act, Armored Saint who I was not familiar with, outperformed Queensryche on this night.

QR definitely took hold of the flame! They havent missed a beat, and any true fan of the band (past or present) will get to see something truly spectacular!!

Best concert ever. These dudes really put on a great show and playing these songs from the first 2 albums was a treat. Thanks for the lasting memory 🤘

The lead singer was great! He could really belt out the tunes! The band was tight and sounded fantastic!

A great show from Both Queensryche and Armored Saint 🤘. I loved QR origins tour set list. AS set list was great to. Both bands were on the money. The venue at Kalamazoo State Theatre is cool as well. Staff there had lines moving smoothly. I would see a show there again.

Well, I've been a big Queensryche fan for years, Seen 'em several times in concert. I knew nothing about Armored Saint and looked forward to checking them out. I'm an entertainer / musician and love loud music. I also love good clean sound, nothing like I experienced at this show. When asked about the show I pretty much told everyone it was "2+ hours of noise". If the crew running sound thought it was good, well, maybe time for a new sound company. The musicians - awesome. At least I think they were, could not make out much of anything. Drums did however come through quite well and man, Casey Grillo was the highlight of the evening for me. Fantastic. Somewhat disappointed in Queensryche setlist-only early EP's (as advertised) but ZERO material from Empire and beyond. The venue is beautiful.

Both Bands, Amored Saint and Queensryche were so loud, unless you really knew the songs, you had no idea what they were playing. The bass was so loud it literally pounded my heart and my ears are still not normal. I'm 60 years old, a life long drummer and grew up in bands, I love loud music but this was ridiculous. If it was the State Theaters problem, I will never see another concert there. We paid a lot of money to sit up front, security did nothing to keep people from coming up and standing in the aisles or in front of the stage. People were smoking dope in the aisles and acting poorly. Our experience was horrible. I only gave 1 star because it was the lowest.

Great venue in Kalamazoo...great staff...show was AWESOME!!

I was so excited for this concert, close to home and my first time hearing them perform! I was floored by the quality of sound and lights! Love this arena too!

Great show, great venue, The Ep & 1st album Warning. And With Armored Saint opening, could not have asked for a better show .
