Phoenix Suns History
As Arizona's original professional sports franchise, the Phoenix Suns were established in the NBA in 1968 and for the last 30 years have been entertaining fans in downtown Phoenix at Mortgage Matchup Center (formerly PHX Arena). The rich history of the franchise includes some of most memorable teams in NBA history, including the 1975–76 "Sunderella Suns," the 1992–93 team that featured Charles Barkley and reached the NBA Finals, and the ":07 Seconds or Less" era teams, during which Steve Nash was twice named the league's MVP.
Enshrined in the Suns’ Ring of Honor are Alvan Adams, Barkley, Tom Chambers, Jerry Colangelo, Walter Davis, Cotton Fitzsimmons, Connie Hawkins, Kevin Johnson, Dan Majerle, Al McCoy, John MacLeod, Nash, Joe Proski, Dick Van Arsdale and Paul Westphal.
The Phoenix Suns had a successful 2020–21 season, winning the Western Conference and narrowly falling in the NBA Finals to the Milwaukee Bucks. The Suns ended the 2021–2022 season with a franchise record of 64 wins and finished with the NBA's best record by eight games above the second best, the league's largest differential in 22 years. They also made back-to-back appearances in the Western Conference semifinals in 2022 and 2023.

Awesome Arena! Good view, even for nose bleed seats.
Easy ticketing, electric atmosphere. Great team and great game!
WAS SUPER OVER PRICED FOR THE HIGHEST LEVEL SEAT!!but I was already there and my son wanted to watch the game live
Came from Vancouver Canada to visit and catch the game. All was great and smooth which made it an awesome experience. Would recommend the experience. Thanks.
Love the price and the seat were even better hope to get them next time and some price
Epic experience for our first NBA game in AZ! Section 117 offers a great view with a fabulous bar in the background. The vendor food was decent and the Jumbotron and digital displays were excellent.
The event was an amazing opportunity to be in a great show! The game was amazing And everything - from the entrance to the end of the game - was perfect!
The view from this angle was better than i thought, we were close enough to see the faces of the players. The only problem was when our team was on the other side of the court. There was a sign of some sort blocking the view to watch the game if you were to sit on the first two seats near the steps. If you sit on the end near steps know that once your team is on the other side of the court you will have to stand up or scoot up in your seat. I did not look to see why what looked like a sign was there but it blocked your view. We were Section 116, row 25, seats 3-6
Had a beautiful experience with Roland and his wife Nannatte. They are STH and I was visiting from Chicago. They were so kind and welcoming to me.
What a fun team to watch! Tickets were definitely worth it. If you wanna try and save some money then get some seats within the 200s sections. You still get a great view of the court. 10/10 I love going to these games they make it so entertaining
Loyal LA Laker fan- Kobe Bryant #24- this was my first Phoenix Suns basketball here in the Valley. Loved the venue, food choice and atmosphere. Highly recommend any NBA game! Will definitely be coming back for the remaining of the season.
It was a blast! The seats are high up but you get to see everything!!!!!
The game was great, everything in the arena was fun and enjoyable. I just wish TicketMaster would be a bit less greedy with their pricing, of both the tickets and concessions inside. $9 for a can of water is outright ridiculous. Otherwise an enjoyable evening.
ts was so boring omllll i’d rate this 0 stars, but i can’t. i love basketball and i always have, i’m a youngster, 27 years old. I love devin booker but he wasn’t there. i get that he can be hurt and not play but atleast show up. they were playing. the grizzles and it was absolute BULL. never returning again, thanks a lot footprint center.
Everything went in the right way, first with the online purchase, several communications for updates from Ticketmaster, finally no issue at all at the venue. I will surely purchase for more events!
Only my second experience of NBA ( the other was with the Lakers the previous weekend) whilst on holiday in the US. Loud, exciting, breathless, exhilarating entertainment; and the basketball was pretty good too! Would I go again? You bet.
The event was an outstanding experience, with a very familiar atmosphere. The services provided around the event, such as parking, public services, environmental care, security, and support within the facilities, were exceptional and greatly contributed to the overall success of the event.
Suns game was first class. First NBA my girls have been to and LOVED IT.
We took our 10 year old grandson to the game. The music and announcing was so loud I could not understand him sitting next to me.
