Awesome

FedExForum - Memphis

It was a awesome experience and even though my team (Lakers) lost i thought the arena was a great atmosphere and the fans was amazing and i would definitely go to one again and would probably be a season ticket holder if i lived closer to Memphis

FedEx Forum is great! The basketball team ( Memphis Grizzlies) are great ! The only thing I didn’t like about the experience was , there are a lot of pan handlers in Memphis! I was asked over 20 times for $

Gotta support the home team!

FedExForum - Memphis

Going to the games arw always fun, but unfortunately, the home team didn't bring home the win this time. However, my husband won a basketball autographed by Jaren Jackson Jr. That was pretty sweet!

Great first experience!

FedExForum - Memphis

Really nice venue! Everything was clean and bright. The staff were all so friendly and helpful - great culture of customer service. I also loved that I could get some gluten free barbecue nachos at Rendezvous. We even had a drunk fan behind us yelling obscenities and the staff in our section quickly removed him. Very impressed with the FedExForum!

Information

Memphis Grizzlies at FedExForum

The Grizzlies have called FedExForum home since 2004, three years after the franchise relocated to Memphis from Vancouver, BC. Those first three seasons, the Grizzlies played in the Pyramid, but the landmark venue needed costly upgrades to meet NBA standards. Construction of a $250 million arena was found to be more feasible.

The dome-shaped venue on Memphis' historic Beale Street pays homage to the city's rich music history, boasting murals, photographs, and themed restaurants and clubs throughout. FedExForum has undergone several renovations since its initial construction, including a state-of-the-art, high-definition scoreboard and video screen installed in 2017. The arena was also the first in the NBA to have "see-through" shot clocks, so the views of fans were not obstructed.

Memphis Grizzlies 2018-19 Season

The Grizzlies look to retool after a star-crossed season that saw them finish 22-60 and miss the playoffs for the first time since the 2009-10 season. But Grizzlies fans have weathered lean years before, and they've witnessed the excitement of a rebuild. Head coach J.B. Bickerstaff has plenty of weapons at his disposal to surround Conley — fully recovered from heel surgery — and center Marc Gasol, the three-time All-Star and 2013 NBA Defensive Player of the Year.

Much of the excitement surrounds 18-year-old phenom Jaren Jackson Jr., a 6-foot-11 forward/center and the No. 4 pick in June's draft. The Grizzlies also got an infusion of fresh blood with the free-agent signing of forward Kyle Anderson and the additions of Dakari Johnson and Garrett Temple via trades. Forward JaMychal Green is coming off his best season, and improving swingman Wayne Selden, who missed 44 games last year, is a weapon for his power as well as finesse. He'll join MarShon Brooks, Dillon Brooks, and Temple as contenders for playing time in the backcourt.

Memphis Grizzlies History

As the Vancouver Grizzlies, the team joined the NBA in 1995 along with the Toronto Raptors as the league expanded to Canada. Their early struggles — six consecutive seasons with no more than 23 victories — hurt attendance. Ownership found open arms in Memphis and moved the franchise in 2001.

Their first year in Memphis, they drafted forward Pau Gasol, who would go on to NBA Rookie of the Year, the franchise's first All-Star and, eventually, the Grizzlies' all-time leading scorer and rebounder. In 2002, the Grizzlies brought on Jerry West as general manager, and the franchise reversed course. In the 2003-04 season, they posted a winning record, making the playoffs for the first of three consecutive seasons.

A four-year dry spell followed, but sparked by forwards Zach Rudolph and Rudy Gay and helmed by coach Lionel Hollins, the Grizzlies returned to the playoffs in the 2010-11 season, upsetting the San Antonio Spurs in the first round before losing to the Oklahoma City Thunder in seven games in the conference semifinals. It was the first of seven consecutive playoff appearances for the Grizzlies.

The 2012-13 season saw the Grizzlies use their record-setting defense to make it as far as the conference finals. They ultimately fell to the San Antonio Spurs.
