Phil Wiggins Tickets

Wow. I first heard Phil Wiggins playing as I walked across the Mall in Washington DC the summer of 1986. He and John had received congressional recognition and were performing for a tented crowd. My wife and I went over and spoke with Phil after their performance. What an incredibly nice person. On the spot he encouraged me to learn to play, invited me to DC Blues Society functions, and later became a mentor. We just saw his performance in Raleigh. And, 33 years later, he is even BETTER as a performer: Warm, entertaining, and absolutely THE GREATEST blues harmonica musician ever! The rest of his group were also terrific! An excellent night of fun and musianship.
