I go every time the show comes to Memphis!! I've even attended 2 times in one day 🤷😂😂💓
I really enjoyed myself. The family and I had a amazing time
Rice eccles is always an amazing show. Last year was great! This year will be better!
We went to the one in Philadelphia. Forecast said to expect rain. So we brought a big umbrella. Had to throw it away at the gate because they are not permitted. NOTHING mentioned prohibited items on the tickets or website. Had to throw away bag and umbrella. Or other option was to walk back to vehicle (which was 20min) and the lines were tremendously long. Took almost 45 min to park and another 40min to get through the first gate. Extremely packed (which was to be expected).
I took my 2 yr old son to monster jam at empower field and it was AMAZING!! The one negative thing I will say is i wish there was more signage/ staff to help you get to your seats…. I walked to whole station for a really long time trying to find our seats or someone to help us. Once we finally arrived to our seats, they ended up being club level and everyone in there was so amazing!!!!! So friendly, so helpful and it was just overall a great experience! We will definitely be back again!!!
It was drizzling rain all day and all night but that did not stop me and my family from having a blast!!! The track was muddy and the trucks weren't able to go as fast as they dobwhen its dry but they did not disappoint!! The engines were growling, the adrenaline was flowing and it was non stop excitement!!! The only part that sucked is they closed the pit parry down and we weren't able to see the trucks up close. Still a 5 star rating!!!!
I purchased the Pit pass for my son to see the trucks up close. When we showed up the line was so long. Staff members were telling us not to even bother to wait because you’re not going to make it in. We waited, but still was not able to make it into the Pit Pass
We arrived in the rain and snow and still had to stand outside for 4 hours as we waited to go into the adjusted pit party. The pit party was supposed to be outside and awesome. Instead it was inside, small, and lame. With 4 young kids standing in line for this long for something that was a let down is very disappointing for all involved.
The show should have been postponed it rained all day and during the event. The trucks can’t perform in conditions like that it just made for a lame experience in the cold rain.
My son and I had a great time. It was our 3rd time seeing Monster Jam. Had a great time. I didn't like having our seats moved. But it's not like any one cares about my opinion.
We go to Monster Jam every year and we understand the rain or shine show. However, it had rained so much over the entire course of the weekend and the event that the course was too sloppy. The trucks couldn't do much for tricks like you normally see. Even the drivers were saying during live interviews that it was so sloppy and it was too difficult to try much for tricks. We still had a good time, but it would have been so much better had the track been drier.
I enjoy Monster Jam very much! I recently started going and it has always been a blast! I went when it was at Ball Arena and I’ve gone at Empower Field and I have always had a good time, until April 27th. I understand the ticket states rain or shine but when it rained it ruined the show. It was not as exciting as it usually is AND some of the trucks stayed out in the arena flipped over. The drivers were frustrated and did their best to put on a show but the conditions were not ideal. I feel like they should have rescheduled. It was not worth it in the rain.
The show only lasted about an hour total but only a good 30 minutes if that were about the trucks. They came out drove around at the beginning, then they took turns seeing who could win a at making a turn the quickest, only took 10min but after that it was intermission for 20 min while they set up things for the dirt bikes, the dirt bikers took 30 minutes riding around then picking up their stuff, then the trucks came back out, done 2 rounds of seeing who was the best at the tricks and then that was it. Was forced to buy a seat for my 4yr old who sat in our lap the whole time bc 3 tall guys with hats were infront of us. The big events might be worth it but I'd rather watch them on TV than to waste money on small shows like this again.
It was awful. It should have been canceled due to the weather. In an open arena you cant host an event like this. The trucks weren't able to perform and we weren't able to enjoy it because we were cold and wet. We had to leave early.
It rained really hard the day before the event. The trucks couldn't get traction and were loaded down by mud. The show sucked. I feel they should of either rescheduled or tried to do maintenance on the track to at least make it a little better. Pretty much a waste of time and money.
It was a fun time even though it rained. Was a cool experience seeing the trucks in rain for sure. But could've been better. Wish there were more tricks or fireworks
Due to the nature of the event, rain or shine, we were forced to sit in a pouring rain and witness drivers struggle to get over the obstacles due to mud. I’d like to see the event planner to take a different approach to rain or shine to ensure a pleasant experience for ticket holders.
Big trucks like the ones that showed up ain't meant for the mud. Please forecast the weather better B4 🔒ing in a Denver event
I cannot believe they did not postpone the event until sunday. They held the event Saturday night in cold rainy weather when the stadium was all muddy. And the forecast for sunday was nice and sunny. I'd say the stadium was only about twenty percent full. The trucks were not able to perform the same type of activities they would normally do.
Good experience for kids and family. Atmosphere /Food is awesome. We were a little disappointed that a few trucks didn't compete due to engine problems, but over all it was a good show. We we and several people we very disappointed in was that we paid money for pit passes that was suppose to start at a certain time, and people were lined up around the building outside (both sides) because the venue only opened 2 doors. Therefore no one got in on the pit pass party on time, and of course they didn't extend it for the delay. Not a Monster Jam problem, but more of a venue problem I think. This is the 2nd time we have purchased pit passes and the second time it was cut short. If we return we will not purchase the pit passes, not worth the money or hassle.
