Monster Jam is a fun event for people of all ages. At most venues, children two and under can attend for free as long as they sit on a parent or guardian’s lap. However, some venues may require all guests to be ticketed regardless of age. Children aged two and up require tickets for all events, including Early Access, Pit Party, VIP Experiences and post-event experiences.
Please contact your local venue to confirm their specific policy.
Ear protection is recommended for children and adults. Monster Jam concessions sell Monster Jam-branded novelty ear protection and disposable ear plugs while supplies last. You are allowed to bring your own ear protection.
Additionally, it’s important to note that some Monster Jam events can use pyrotechnics before, during and at the conclusion of the event.
The Monster Jam Post-Show Meet and Greet* offers an exclusive opportunity to meet with the drivers shortly after the event. You can take photos, get autographs, mingle in a private space and ask your biggest Monster Jam questions. You’ll also receive an official Monster Jam souvenir 3′ x 5′ checkered flag perfect for autographs.
*The Post-Show Meet and Greet Pass is a separate experience that can be purchased while buying your Monster Jam tickets or, if you already have Monster Jam tickets, you can purchase a meet-and-greet pass separately online. Space is limited and subject to availability.
We kinda expected more tbh, but it was great for ticket costs ;
The tickets were way overpriced for a family of 4. The drivers of the trucks took it easy so the trucks could last for different show times. The track was way to small to where only one truck could ride at a time.
Took 7 of my 8 grandchildren to Monster Jam and absolutely LOVED it! One granddaughter thought it was a bit loud, but after giving her my noise cancelling headphones, she was better. What a show, what driving and the motorcyclists were also amazing.
It‘s not really a show. A Little Bit boring and too long breaks.
This is the first thing me for my grandsons and we loved the performances at the Monster Jam. The place is perfect and all seats were great for viewing even the top seats. We'll see it again next time. Paid parkings a few blocks away are better to take rather than the private one across the stadium who were pricing gouching.
The price of food and drinks where insane and we decided we will not be returning. 20 dollars for cotton candy, $30 for a snowcone that immediately melts, 8 dollars for a popcorn. I could on $5 for a water!? Im disgusted
No what i expect i travel alot for this and it was disappointing
Concessions sucked. No food prepared. Too many break downs. Show dragged. Best part were the motocross guys doing the stunts. Kids weren't impressed and bored out of their mind. Not like the shows from back in the day, they were at least entertaining to watch. Venue is too small for the event as well.
Good show and worth it. Machines are too loud. Don't forget to bring your ear protections.
We were very disappointed. The venue was way too small, trucks could barely turn around. They all were limited to do the same tricks, which was a bummer. Personally, I wouldn’t recommend anyone to purchase for this venue again.
This was my son's seventh birthday present, and both our first times at a Monster Jam event. I purchased the pit party pass, and it was great to meet the drivers and see the trucks up close. Other than that, there were two tents for kids to color a picture, a sand box tent, and a merchandise tent that had a limited selection of a couple hats, a few shirts, and some toy trucks that were naturally overpriced. Once the main event started with the race portion, that event lasted 15 minutes. Then the two-wheel competition, which was pretty good. Both events lasted a combined total of 30 - 40 minutes, and then they took a "halftime"break. So, we waited for them to set up the track for another event and inflate a large ramp for the motorcross guys. The motorcross show was nice, but they had to go out into the hallway to get enough speed to do the jumps, and they weren't able to really show off too much. Once the trucks came back, they did a vertical jump challenge, which was okay, and then the freestyle event. During the freestyle event, we saw one backflip and one donut, and the rest was just more jumps. Don't get me wrong, for my seven year old son it was great, and he really enjoyed it. For me, the very small size of the venue made it difficult for the trucks to reach their full potential and put on a great show. It was good, but...it could have been a lot better. For what I paid for food, a single souvenir, and the tickets for the pit pass and general admission for two people, I was well over $200, and I'm not sure I feel like I got my money's worth. Would I go again? Maybe, but at a different venue.
Awesome time for truck lovers! Our family had so much fun. The kids kept saying “best day ever!” We’ve gone to the indoor arenas shows which are great but being outside was so much better - more trucks and it’s not as loud. It did rain right before the show but that didn’t stop the fun. We also had pit party passes which was cool to see the trucks up close and meet the drivers. For an additional charge, we got to ride Grave Digger… SO fun and worth it!!
The performers did an amazing job but didn’t have enough space to work. It seemed like they couldn’t get up enough speed to really do many tricks. The arena was too small for what they were trying to do.
We had an amazing time at Monster Jam. The security at the Hampton Coliseum were very friendly and attentive when they saw one of my guests was in a scooter. After the security check they immediately took us on the security cart to our seats, which was great because we didn't have to separate to enter the building. The announcer stated how the venue was a little smaller than others so maybe it's time to seek another venue for Monster Jam 2025. This was my 9 year old's first experience and he loved it. We will definitely be back again.
My daughter loved the Monster Trucks especially Megalodon since it has a woman driver. Her friend that we brought really enjoyed the motocross.
It would be impossible not to have fun at the Monster Jam! Great for all ages. Not quite the same as a stadium show but nobody puts on a better monster truck show in the arena than Monster Jam.
First time for us as a family and we had awesome seats and all loved the show . Can’t wait to go back next year ..
It was a WONDERFUL experience. Both my boys loved it and it was our first time attending. We will definitely be back next year. Great ...Great ...Great!!!! We loved them ALL but especially Gravedigger & Kayla !!!!
The app worked great to get into event. The event was even better then last year
If you want to see your kids in absolute awe, bring them to Monster Jam. Honestly, they weren’t the only ones in awe. It’s louder than you’d expect if you’ve never been or haven’t been since you were a kid so bring or buy appropriate ear protection. Just tons of fun all around. I get it now. I get the hype.
