    Very Enjoyable

by HugeCCRFan on 4/28/11Heinz Hall for the Performing Arts - Pittsburgh

Marvin Hamlisch is not only a very talented composer he is an extremely enjoyable entertainer. I have seen him a number of times conducting the Pittsburgh Symphony as the Principle Pops Conductor and he brings the best out of the symphony while being quite humorous and interesting throughout the performance. His interaction with the symphony, the guest artists and the audience is genuine and very entertaining. That interaction coupled with the stories, many very funny, that he tells of his vast experiences always adds greatly to the enjoyment of the evening. He is superb with young artists and promotes their efforts and performances from the moment that they come on stage until they are done with their set. Always a very enjoyable Pops performance no matter what genre of music is being played.

    Incredible!

by Granny9 on 4/3/11Lakeland Center Youkey Theatre - Lakeland

It was wonderful! I felt in awe to be in the presence of such talent. Mr. Hamlisch is funny and humble, and Ms. Noll was just unbelievable with the range and quality of her voice. My husband and I enjoyed it tremendously. If he is booked again, we will surely make every effort to get there.

HIs sense of humor was as wonderful as the music

by ChesyPeake on 1/24/11Ferguson Center for the Arts Concert Hall - Newport News

It was a very warm, entertaining evening where he not only displaced his piano expertise , but also revealed some of his traits, interests, bio and life experiences. His interplay with the audience during the question and answer section was fascinating and left one with the feeling that he had given a great hint of the inner man. Both the male and female vocalists had grand voices and a stage presence match.

Marvin and Mark are unforbelievable combination!

by a1show on 12/8/10Keith Albee Theater - Huntington

What a better way to spend a cold, wintery December night, than to be entertained by Marvin Hamlisch?? To be honest we went to see Mark McVey, as we know he has the most beautiful voice and is a terrific performer. And he did not disappoint! It was amazing!! We were very pleased by Marvin as well. He was funny and. of course, so accomplished at the piano! The things this man has seen and done! We would definitely recommend this show to everyone we meet!!

Love Those M&M's (Michael & Marvin)

by RayK1123 on 10/25/10Tilles Center Concert Hall - Brookville

Having seen hundreds of concerts in my lifetime , it was an honor & a pleasure to see(2) musical giants on one stage - in one night. Not a need for drumbeats - drumboxes echo chambers - samples and mixes and loudness- no laser light shows - no dance routines - no glitter costuming . Just pure Joy ! The best part about this show - is that they had fun - so we had fun They come from another generation -A generation where words and music mean something having REAL TALENT is a gift !

Marvin Hamlisch & Michael Feinstein were amazing

by VIP1 on 10/25/10Tilles Center Concert Hall - Brookville

This concert was one of the best concerts I have ever attended. I have seen both performers in live concert before and they just keep getting better. Great songs, great performances from two extremely talented men.

Wonderful musician and great humorist. I have seen him twice now, once without a professional orchestra, last evening, and once with a professional orchestra. He is so versatile that he creates fun and enjoyment either way. He also is quite tolerant of students, lesser skilled musicians because he has been there once, too. Does not have a superior, arrogant attitude -- very nice to see. This guy is really solid.
