KAMELOT IN CONCERT:

Power metal band Kamelot offers ticket buyers a theatrical, high-octane live experience that always gets fans’ hearts pounding. Audiences love Tommy Karevik’s mystical lyrics and soaring vocals, especially since he often invites them to sing along with his epic songs. Kamelot’s virtuosic musicianship provides a solid foundation for their majestic tunes, and guitarist Thomas Youngblood is sure to have heads banging with his pummeling, shred-filled leads. Throw in the thunderous, rapid-fire drumming of Casey Grillo and you have the recipe for an unforgettable live show. Kamelot has taken all their power and passion and poured it into their 2015 North American Tour, giving audiences a chance to see this thrilling visual and auditory spectacle for themselves.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Formed in Tampa, Florida, in 1991 by guitarist Thomas Youngblood and drummer Richard Warner, Kamelot has delivered classic metal to the masses for nearly two decades. When singer Roy Kahn joined the band in 1998, he helped the band achieve a new level of success with the album Siege Perilous. In 2005 the band taped their first music videos for the songs “March of Mephisto” and “The Haunting (Somewhere in Time)”, two standouts from the album Black Halo. With the release of Poetry for the Poisoned in 2010, the band made its first chart appearance in the US. They followed up with Silverthorn two years later, experiencing similar commercial success while also introducing new vocalist Tommy Karevik to the masses. Their 2015 album Haven continues the band’s hot streak and delivers the same epic story-telling and heavy metal virtuosity that have made them a favorite of metal fans all over the world.

    Amazing

by Fred on 5/6/24The Bluestone - Columbus

Kamelot, hanmerfall, and ad infinitum were all incredible. Unbelievably talented musicians and performers. I can’t wait to see them again. The bluestone venue was a super cool venue for a metal concert as the cherry on top.

    Great Show

by Stone on 5/6/24The Bluestone - Columbus

Great set, great energy (as always), and Melissa Bonny was excellent. It seemed that they chose the set to best take advantage of her presence and it absolutely delivered.

    Worst Sound Ever!

by mg on 5/5/24The Wellmont Theater - Montclair

I love Kamelot and I've seen them multiple times . But this time around the whole concert was completely ruined by terrible sound. I sat close to the sound console, yet I could barely make out the music. Everything meshed together in unrecognizable noise. Hopefully better luck next time (or better sound man :) ). Interestingly enough, the support act - Hammerfall sounded good.

    Technical Difficulties

by MiniNinja on 5/4/24The Wellmont Theater - Montclair

I won't say the band was bad, but the experience was hampered by technical issues perhaps beyond the bands control. On top of that, the audio wasn't the most balanced so the bass and drums often drowned out the vocals anyway. This issue was somewhat exasperated by the fact that the bands lyrics are rather poetic so hearing the lyrics is especially important

    Magical!!!

by Riley on 5/4/24The Wellmont Theater - Montclair

I loved it!!! I’m so happy I got to finally see kamelot! And I met the band! They are so sweet! And I will always remember the moment Tommy came to the barricade and held my hand and sang to me 🥹 this is the best concert I’ve been to so far this year!

    Rock n Metaling Out

by Tommy D on 4/30/24Big Night Live - Boston

I did enjoy Kamelot live for the 2nd time seeing them. However, I was caught off guard with the time of the show thinking the band was going to take the stage closer to 9, as I didn’t care for the openers. I was really surprised that Kamelot took the stage so early, especially on a Saturday night. Even though I arrived a little after 8 missing the first 2 songs, the rest of the set made up for the night. Thank God I got there when I did. Lesson learned.

    Great performance

by BB on 4/30/24Big Night Live - Boston

This is my third time seeing Kamelot live, and it's always a good show. Amazing stage presence and set pieces, loved the fog jets!

    Once in a lifetime performance

by Derek on 4/30/24Big Night Live - Boston

I've been an avid concert-goer for almost three decades. This was easily in my top 5 concerts of all time. The venue is amazing, tons of space, great bar, great staff. The performance of all three bands was 10/10 - with surprises throughout the evening. The worst thing about the concert was that it had to end (also, the start time was a little early).

    What a great show!!

by Kamelot on 4/29/24The Paramount - Huntington

The show was so good that I wished I could travel to the next stop on the tour to watch it again! Tommy Karevik has a great voice and all the members if the band are excellent musicians and entertainers. Great to see Melissa Bonny again(saw her with them at Webster Hall) and Seven Spires Band was very good as well. **Hoping they’ll be back later this year!

Positive vibes but absolutely horrible sound

by Andreas on 4/29/24The Paramount - Huntington

There is no amount of energy or technical prowess from the band that can fix horrible sound (noise would be a more suitable term here). I am not the kind of sound snob or anything; it was just horrible, ear-damaging, meaninglessly loud, zero-definition sound. The PA speakers were farting out to any double-bass drumming or fast bass playing. Guitars were inaudible for the most part. Only the vocals saved some face. I was hardly able to make 1 or 2 Kamelot songs... I have no idea whose fault this is (the band not testing sound properly? Paramount having horrible PA system?) but this is totally unacceptable....

    Kamelot Never Disappoints!

by Juddo on 4/29/24The Paramount - Huntington

Kamelot put on a great performance as usual. Their sound and effects were solid. The other bands were great too, but their sound setups made it hard to fully hear them properly. Overall a great show and great venue, would definitely come back.

Kamelot put their flag in Huntington ground!

by Vero on 4/29/24The Paramount - Huntington

Kamelot #theawakeningtour in Huntington NY was fabulous! #adinfinitum #sevenspires #kamelot gave a strong, powerful and unforgettable show. Tommy’s vocals superb as always, I think his voice sounds better in live; and Youngblood’s unbelievable powerful guitar. Your fans are happy! Thank you for Vespertine, I wanted to listen to than song live ♥️ Melissa Bonny from Ad Infinitum had an impressive vocal range and stage presence. And Adrienne Cowen’s vocal agility and dramatic manipulation left everyone in awe. Great show!

Amazing final night for this tour!!

by Rdevall on 9/13/23Hard Rock Live Orlando - Orlando

It was an amazing final night for Kamelot, Battle Beast and Xandria at the Orlando show!! Crowd was wild and energized as were all three bands. You could tell everyone on stage was having a fun time with the last show and it carried over into the crowd!! I had a blast

    Great show

by Weldmek62 on 9/13/23Hard Rock Live Orlando - Orlando

All three bands performed great shows. Battle beast out-performed the others IMHO. Only issue for me was when Kamelot came out, the volume increased by at least a half for me distorting the music to a drone which I know is common at shows. We should have gone to the rear of the venue to enjoy them more. I couldn't tell what song Kamelot was performing until they went into the chorus. Other than that, it was the final show in the U.S. and lots of pranks were played on each others bands on stage. Good times. Entry and egress were smooth at the venue.

    Great show, terrible parking

by Justin on 9/12/23Hard Rock Live Orlando - Orlando

Kamelot are always incredible. Hard Rock has great sound and I really enjoyed the venue overall. My only complaint was having the show during Halloween Horror Nights and having to pay $30 for parking because of it.

    Battle Beast was Fire!

by ADGMUSIC on 9/12/23Hard Rock Live Orlando - Orlando

I heard of Battle Beast through Spotify and listened to a few tracks over the last 6 months. I also heard of Kamelot and always enjoyed symphonic metal in general so I figured I would buy a few tickets to see both. Parking was a breeze at the Hard Rock Hotel and we walked to the venue. Xandria was first up and everyone was amazed at their talent and female Nightwish like vocals plus the vocalist was pleasing to the eye. Next was Battle Beast who took the show in my opinion. They came out like they owned the show. From hit songs Straight from the Heart to their latest songs, all were powerful and in your face! Definitely will see them again. Lastly was Kamelot which were the Headliner for the night. After a few songs their intensity just wasn't as the former bands and we decided to leave early. They did have a nice merchandise booth and we ended up buying a woman's tee to show support. The venue went to Battle Beast hands down. Powerful and Energetic Metal for all ages!

    Wonderful show, intimate venue

by D.R. Austin on 9/9/23The Echo Lounge & Music Hall - Dallas

Venue has excellent sound. The Audio engineer balanced the dound expertly for the style of music. I was close enough to the stage to be able to hear the sound from the artists themselves. I will be looking for more shows at this venue. Plus Kamelot played a few songs from the past that I am very happy to have been able to see performed live.

    Best show ever

by Pixie on 9/9/23The Echo Lounge & Music Hall - Dallas

Kamelot is my favorite band so they honestly could have been playing in a shack and I would have loved it still. They put on an amazing show, vocals were amazing Tommy and Melissa sound phenomenal live. Everyone’s energy was great and everyone connected with the crowd. There was a little boy next to me, probably the youngest person there, and they all made him feel so special, I just know that made his year. Meeting Thomas, Sean and Melissa afterwards was so surreal and they were so nice! I really appreciated the group coming out and letting me and the other crimson bride take a picture with them! They didn’t have to do that and I know they were probably wore out at that point in the night but they still did it and it was the cherry on top of my night. I can’t wait to come see y’all next time you’re in Texas!! -with love from one of your Texas Crimson Brides
