With the release of Jesse McCartney’s new single “Better With You” — his first new music since his well-received 2014 album ‘In Technicolor’ — it’s worth noting that the New York-born singer, songwriter, producer, and actor has had the kind of career that most young artists aspire to. With multiple platinum-selling tracks and a songwriting credit on Leona Lewis’s “Bleeding Love” under his belt, McCartney is ready to introduce his fans to who he is today.
His fans have been waiting almost four years since ‘In Technicolor,’ one of Spin Magazine’s Top Pop Albums of 2014. "It was a transitional time where I just let myself have some space from my career and get some perspective on life, something I really hadn’t had the freedom to do since I was 10. Then, a friend invited me to come to Nashville to do a songwriting camp for other artists,” McCartney recollects. “It triggered a huge surge in creative energy that led me to put this project and team together.” Now that he’s moving, McCartney has no intention of slowing down. He plans to release more music throughout 2018 and bring his dedicated fans along for the ride.
The deliberate attention McCartney pays to his craft is evident in the new songs he is gearing up to release this year, including “Better With You,” which he co-wrote with Brandyn Burnette, Molly Moore, and producer Rob Knox (Justin Timberlake, Rihanna). The acoustic-guitar-driven pop song is more sonically organic than the stylized, ’80s-inspired songs on In Technicolor and McCartney has re-vamped his visuals with art direction by Dewey Saunders (Anderson .Paak, Bridgit Mendler). “It feels fresh to me,” McCartney says. “This is a really strange time,” he says. “Things are contentious. I think a song about finding a safe place with a partner is an uplifting message.”

I've been a fan for over 20 years now. I never thought I would get to see him live, this was a dream come true!
Jesse sounded amazing and knows how to work the crowd! Great energy through out! Fun night of nostalgia and he sang some newer songs as well. Only gripe is how packed it was at HOB Orlando to where you couldn’t really move much. The demand for Jesse in Orlando is there so I’d probably move the concert to Hard Rock Live or have two Jesse nights at HOB to ease the crowds if it were possible. Otherwise super fun!
His energy was otherworldly the entire show! I even got to take a picture with him afterwards. I'd definitely go see him again.
Jesse gave an amazing performance! If you’re still uncertain about buying the ticket, BUY IT! It was very nostalgic and fun, from him singing his old songs to his new, words just can’t explain! His mother in law and wife Katie were helping out at the merch table in Orlando and they were both soooo beyond sweet! Katie even agreed to taking a picture with us!!! Jesse also brought out a band call Just Seconds Apart and they too were amazing! instantly became of fan ! They also were doing a free meet and greet and they too were the sweetest! Overall with EVERYONE involved, 10/10 would recommend!!
I love every opportunity to see jesse mccartney I can't wait til he comes back agaaaaaaaaain
I have no problem with the concert or the artist. My issue is, I showed up at 4pm to wait in like in order to get a good spot for the concert and people were allowed to buy the early access tickets up until the doors opened. When online it says they’re only allowed to be purchased until the day before. It really made coming early pointless, when I got stuck behind people who just had more money than I did. There should have at least been a cap.
Jesse’s stage presence is AMAZING! I had the best night of my life at his concert and can not wait to go again.
Jesse was wonderful. He was engaging, sang all the right song, and had the crowd hype. Ive always wanted to see him, and I he proved why. NOLA show was one to remember.
Jesse McCartney always puts on the best concert. His opening act, was pretty good and got us all hyped for Jesse. Then he came on and sang all my favorites and then some. Can't wait to see him again in the future.
10/10 show! Jesse was so good live, he hasn't lost any talent! He really catered to his audience, played all his best oldies with a mix of his new songs. He wasn't trying to impress, he was up on stage having fun, doing what he loves. Crazy level of confidence.
The venue is super nice and intimate if you haven’t been but JESSE MCCARTNEY hisself put on a spectacular show . My friend and I had so much fun from the beginning to the end . It was a great mix of his older popular songs and a few new fun ones too !!! For this particular show he did do a Serenade (I was the lucky lady 😊) , and i think that’s super duper fun . Any lovely lady would love it. I’m very happy I got to see Jesse and would definitely recommend going if you love nostalgic 2000s or just love him. 1000 percent would go again !
Meet and Greet package was amazing! I was just feet away from Jesse and his performance was heavenly!!! the place was nice and we could hear the music perfect!! I can't wait to see Jesse again!! 10 outta 10
The performance was energetic, authentic and as good as you could hope for! Jesse was professional and entertaining and the staff was very kind, including Jesse’s security team.
The concert was great, the artist did a great performance! My only opinion is that the Vip stuff/manegement wasnt that Vip expectations, we enter later than we supposed to and the meet and greet was at the end of the event, I think is more vip if it were before
I went to my 1st Jesse McCartney concert in April 2024 and it was AWESOME! I've been listening to Jesse McCartney since I was in kindergarten when he was in the band dreamstreet. I loved seeing Jesse live in person! So much fun!
It was amazing. I screamed every song. I had the best night of my life
The last time I saw Jesse live was The Beautiful Soul Tour, which was about 20 years ago so I wasn’t sure what to expect after such a long time. But let me tell you: Jesse is still a powerhouse! He sounds fantastic live, and has an excellent band backing him up. The guitarist in particular really got to shine. But not only has Jesse got the chops, he plays and has fun with it too, which really rizzed up the crowd. Wether you’re a fan from way back or just happened to get tickets, you’re in for a real treat
The concert was an absolute blast! The production, lights, musicians/instruments were all amazing! Jesse’s vocals were top notch!! He was super engaging and personable with the crowd and it truly felt like he wanted to be there and make a memorable performance for his fans. Thank you so much for the wondering performance!
Jesse was a great performer who really respects and honors his audience. He was right on time, interactive, brought up a fan onstage, made eye contact with fans, worked the room, and played the songs he knows his fans love. Would go again and again!
