JATS Never a Doubt
by MoGoZo on 6/13/10Duck Room at Blueberry Hill - St LouisJason & the Scorchers never disappoint, and this show was no exception. I hadn't heard the new record, and the show had a bunch of new songs, but they rocked. With all the new stuff, the show skipped a lot of the good oldies, but congratulations to JATS for keeping the fire burning. I didn't even know that JATS were officially back together (shame on me). That was a main reason why we jumped on this show was because we assumed that it was a one-off special event, maybe another last chance. Not so. Welome back Scorchers. Mandolin Mountain and Ha Ha Tonka were really talented too, and were great openers for JATS. A few too many obnoxious drunks at stage-side (rare at a JATS show), but we had a great time anyway.
