About

In certain serendipitous cases, a band’s name perfectly encapsulates their essence, and heavy metal rockers In This Moment are a case in point - the sheer power and immediacy Maria Brink’s vocals make it difficult to be anywhere else. Simultaneously vulnerable and snarling, Brink’s emotional growl is a focal point on 2012’s Blood, the band’s 4th – and most successful – album to date. Singles like “Blood” and “Whore” pulled no punches, landing the album at No. 1 on the Billboard Hard Rock chart and cementing Brink’s place as one of the dominant female voices in alternative metal. After forming in Albany in 2005, the band’s 2007 debut Beautiful Tragedy quickly made them a metal festival staple and the opening act of choice for bands like Megadeth and Rob Zombie. Their 3rd album, 2010’s A Star-Crossed Wasteland, was a crossover success, landing at No. 1 on the Independent Albums chart and spawning a hit with “The Promise”. On Tour in 2013, the band has been blowing ticket buyers away with their thundering live concert, pulling fans into the moment with Brink’s commanding presence.

Over the course of their career, In This Moment have played many famous venues to capacity, like Observatory North Park and House of Blues.

    Will forever love their performance

by Alexa on 5/4/24El Paso County Coliseum - El Paso

I’ve always get so excited when Maria gets to the stage. They did an amazing performance that night and the last part where they came back out with balloons and confetti topped it off. This was my fourth time seeing them. I’m so happy, to many more to come 🤘🏽🖤

Bands rocked, venue needs an update

by Serenjaded on 5/4/24El Paso County Coliseum - El Paso

The lineup was (in order of appearance) Mike’s Dead, Kim Dracula, Motionless in White, and In This Moment. I had never heard of Mike’s Dead and they were pretty good and quite possibly had the best sound of the whole show. Kim Dracula was good with an eclectic variety of sounds and songs. Motionless in White was okay, I wasn’t familiar with most of the set list. I would have liked to have heard some of the more popular tunes. In this Moment did not disappoint. I had gotten a small taste of them at the Aftershock Festival in 2021. They have a very theatrical stage presence and it was great. The venue though was pretty disappointing. All the speakers were up front. There was no sound travel and the bands seemed to struggle with it. The “box seats” were just seats that you didn’t have to climb a 2nd set of stairs to get to. The venue itself charges $5 per person and I’m not sure what they use the money they make on but it doesn’t seem to be upkeep or upgrades. There was a lot of disrepair, from electronic signs being out to broken bathroom stalls to only 2 large speakers up front and I couldn’t hear the words of any of the songs from the bands I really wanted to see. I wouldn’t go to this venue again unless I was able to get 2 for 1 tickets again. It’s not worth more than that.

    Amazing show

by Hipi17 on 5/1/24City National Grove of Anaheim - Anaheim

Took my 14 year old daughter to her 1st metal concert. Mike's Dead, Kim Dracula, In This Moment, all 3 bands killed it. And we can't wait til September when they are back out West! We booked our tickets the minute this show was over. They made my kid a metal head for life!

    Smog machine abuse

by Meh on 5/1/24City National Grove of Anaheim - Anaheim

Let me start by saying that the sound was incredible. Every bands sound was on point. The venue has too many rules. Lastly, while the sound was awesome, In This Moment should be charged with smog machine abuse, as it was almost $400 for two tickets just to see their shadows (if lucky). As someone who has been dying to see them play for years, I was thoroughly disappointed with the stage show, solely because you couldn’t see them. There was no audience interaction, and at one point I doubted it was even Maria Brink, and perhaps that was why they went so heavy on the fog. The fans are amazing though.

    Only 1 problem

by Glen on 5/1/24City National Grove of Anaheim - Anaheim

The venue was great Staff were very helpful I'm Ada helped us get a seat on a mostly standing concert that being said The fog machines were on full tilt so after one song I could not see her at all. You know the pile ups on highways ya that's what it looked like and I was 20 feet from the stage I feel bad bad for the people in back so ya who ever controls the fog machines gotta ease up. And I'm not the only one I talked to many people afterwards they said the same thing.

    Spectacular show!

by Ian B on 5/1/24City National Grove of Anaheim - Anaheim

Performance was absolutely amazing. Vocals and instruments sounded unforgettable. Maria Brink also paused the performance for a moment to help out a fan who had passed out. Visuals and set were very unique and made performance even better. Band members and additional performers accompanying Maria Brink also put on amazing performances. Extremely memorable experience and will most definitely go to another show.

by Time Traveler on 5/1/24City National Grove of Anaheim - Anaheim

From ticketing to ADA accommodations and venue was great ran smooth!! Kudos to all involved in putting this together was an incredible night! Thanks to “Maria” for her care and concern during her performance when she stopped to make sure a patron who passed out was totally ok before resuming her musical greatness on stage. Hoping to catch her again soon at other venues. Incredible Concert !!!!!❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️

    In This Moment!

by GregS on 5/1/24City National Grove of Anaheim - Anaheim

Not a fan of the opening acts, but In This Moment didn't disappoint and was worth the wait. Of course, if you've seen them before you know there are a lot of theatrical effects used during the show. One of the effects was the smoke/mist that filled the room to add to the experience, but I think the ventilation was turned off to maintain the smoke tangible throughout the set. Wow, it got hot in there toward the end of the show. Noticeably hot. This was the show at the Grove in Anaheim.

This was my first metal concert and it did not disappoint! The venue was super clean with friendly staff. The people that attended were all there to have fun and it wasn’t too crazy. Lots of cool bands that I discovered on this day too!

    The most amazing performance EVER

    by Wildfire on 2/12/24

This was my first time seeing In This Moment live, and from the second I heard the first beat to The Purge, my knees instantly gave out from the excitement. The energy throughout the entire show was completely unreal. I can’t wait to go to the next show. Cannot recommend enough to anyone even if you’re not a fan of metal.

    Mind Blowing Show

by Robyn on 12/15/23Harrah's Cherokee Center - Asheville - Asheville

I got VIP tickets for me and a friend and got to meet In this Moment before the show. They was all so nice and was such an amazing experience that I will always remember. The show was mind blowing like nothing I’ve seen since Linkin Park. Motionless in White and From Ashes to New was amazing too. It was definitely worth the money I paid and I’ll always be glad I got to go to this show. My friend loved it too. We definitely had the time of our lives that night. All the bands were so nice and we had so much fun. I’d do it all over again if I could.
