Brian Quinn (Q), James Murray (Murr) and Sal Vulcano are the Creators, Executive Producers, and Stars of truTV's hit series, Impractical Jokers. Now in its 10th season, Impractical Jokers is a hidden camera comedy show that follows Q, Murr and Sal as they compete to embarrass each other amongst the general public with a series of hilarious and outrageous dares. When Murr, Sal and Q challenge each other to say or do something, they have to do it... if they refuse, they lose! At the end of every episode - with the help of a celebrity guest - the episode's loser must endure a punishment of epic proportions.
In addition to their top 5 comedy show on cable, and truTV's longest running and top-rated original comedy, the guys have toured steadily over the last eight years with their wildly popular live show, performing for over one million fans in the US and UK, including six sold-out nights at Radio City Music Hall, a sold-out Madison Square Garden, and six sold-out shows at London's O2 Arena. Natives of Staten Island, NY, Murr, Sal and Q met while attending high school and later formed The Tenderloins Comedy Troupe in 1999. After years of performing live improv and sketch comedy shows, The Tenderloins crossed over to the web, garnering millions of views for their internet sketches, eventually creating the runaway success Impractical Jokers for truTV.
Love their shows on tv, but live show very disappointing.
The Jokers were good, the venue - awful. Never been to Covelli before this, will never go again. Dirty, and they literally have folding chairs as seats. They charge a bit much for this level of discomfort.
Act hasn't changed much from past. They are only on stage for a little over an hour. Opening comedian wasn't very funny. Seemed like they were merely cashing in on fans love. Could have done some skits or something. I mean c'mon guys, your entire act that's made you famous on TV is based on setting up really original situations! Love these guys, but definitely not worth the $100 per ticket. If you've seen them live before, don't waste your money.
Glad that we went…would never pay to go see them again…love watching them on tv…not as good in person.
Excellent interactive show. Very funny from the beginning to the end!
Incredible show! Absolutely hilarious, we had great seats, ticket purchasing was very simple, and the venue was nice!
Wasn't worth the money I spent for the event since I don't follow them on there shows..
The Covelli Center is amazing and so were the seats we bought. I am glad we didn't spend a bunch of money though. It was an average show that I didn't last very long. I appreciate that they are so popular on TV so they did a tour but it was almost like being at home. Showed a lot of TV clips to go along with some jokes. The guys are so fun, just wasn't as entertaining as I had hoped.
The show was great! I've only seen a few episodes, but my friend is a huge fan (I bought the tickets for her as a gift). There were many "regular"laughs that has opened throughout the night, but probably at least 5 different times I was laughing so hard my ribs hurt! Some hilarious stories and the ending was so funny that I was dying with laughter. Fun show and unique!
We've been fans since Season 2 and finally scored first row seats!! They were engaging, acknowledged their fans warmly, and even allowed some of their fans to be a part of on few of the on stage gags. They were a thousands times funnier in person than they are on the show (which I didn't think could get funnier). Genuinely good-hearted men who love what they do, and take time to let their fans know that they wouldn't be here without us. Classy, sweet, hilarious and down-to-Earth!!! Way to go Sal, Murr and Q! I hope you make another round back to Cincinnati!
It was a great show. They made us feel like we were just sitting among friends talking. Would see them again!!
Was not really stand up just a recap of the season basically and promoting their upcoming season. Was very disappointed and was not that funny.
The Jokers were great! My wife and I love these guys. Seats were great. Couldn't ask for more.
It was great, they were much funnier in person. we had great seats and the venue was outstanding as usual.
Wow...3 guys on stage with memorized lines and telling stories. Then throwing in a video clip or 2 from their show. Definitely wasnt worth the price of admission. They are great to watch on TV but not worth the money spent on the show. They did 1 act with an audience member. That was it. Otherwise it was story time. People were leaving during the show. Never came back. Save your hard earned money!!!
There were parts that were funny, but I didn’t care much for the profanity. Didn’t agree 12 year old was able to go into a 21 and older show and didn’t think it was very appropriate called up there on stage and conversations with the young boy with use of profanity. I think they could’ve had a little bit better material prepared like maybe their Funniest moments during filming or something, a little more entertaining.
I love these guys. However , I like them better on TV in the format that they have been successful with. Paid nearly $500 for two tickets and expected more of a standup type format. It was a lot of talking and reminiscent of the shows I’ve already seen. It was funny and as I said I love these guys. If I had paid less than $100 for the two tickets this would have been a 5 star review.
For the money we paid I was not impressed with the show. All they did was talk about what happened on the show. It was to staged and they didn’t really do anything funny. We saw Joe a couple months ago and he did a great show! They needed to more of a comedian and not soon written. It was a very expensive night, long drive , and a hotel for a very disappointing show . I still love you guys but I’ll stick to watching the show it’s where you guys shine.
My cheeks were in so much pain due to the laughter! These guys are so funny I laugh so much. Can’t wait for them to come back!
The opener they had was funny, I didn’t get his name because we came in late but I was not disappointed. And of course the boys!! Always so funny and engaging with the audience, I enjoyed their exclusive footage of being silly together. I like that they include Joe when they can and make everyone feel involved with their acts. This is my second times seeing them live and I’m definitely coming to more(:
