This is 2nd time i go idan raichel show and this time was just electrifying...we had moments to sings out loud and dance and best part was he walked over to the row before us while singing and shaking peoples hand. I wished it would be longer ...there were still great songs who could have done
Idan Raichel is an amazing singer, songwriter and musician in a class by himself. When he’s performing with The Project - it’s mind-blowing. He’s freed from the piano and engages with all the musicians and singers on stage. The beautiful women singers have incredibly gorgeous voices and the musicians are just amazing. Wouldn’t have missed this show for the world! I’ve seen him multiple times, alone and with The Project and he NEVER disappoints. Wish he’d come back to NY more than once in a while!
Not sure if it was kings theater or the sound person/team but something was off - the drums were thumping, vibrating disproportionately to everything else. Spoiled the experience even though they tried to give a great show.
So many talented people.. such beautiful music. They all looked like they had just as much fun performing as we had fun being there. Felt like a big shared party.
Performed like a king, amazing talent, would def go again
Absolutely beautiful! The acoustics were amazing, the sound completely filled the space! Idans performance was incredible - it’s beautiful to hear the songs the way they were originally written with just the piano! He’s playing is magical. Very immersive experience and felt very intimate. Some surprise guest singers were fantastic, and the icing on the cake!
