ICE NINE KILLS IN CONCERT:
Metalcore quintet Ice Nine Kills offers fans a gripping and visceral concert experience that combines heavy rhythms, fiery riffs, and catchy hooks. Singer Spencer Charnas vacillates between guttural screams and soaring melodies as he encourages fans to sing along. The rhythm section doles out beat after pummeling beat of non-stop aggressive fury while guitarist Justin deBlieck delivers face-melting riffs and solos. With song titles like “The Coffin Is Moving” and “Let’s Bury the Hatchet… In Your Skull”, the band reliably delivers a hardcore experience that pulls no punches. Ice Nine Kills is sure to bring their mayhem to the masses in 2015 as their IX Lives Tour hits select North American cities.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
The original incarnation of Ice Nine Kills formed in Boston, MA in 2006 and released their independent debut Last Chance to Make Amends that same year. When several original members quit the lineup, lead singer Spencer Charnas recruited musicians from the recently disbanded post-hardcore group Remember Tomorrow. The new roster got right to work, quickly blostering their growing fan base with a successful run on the 2009 Vans Warped Tour. The group released Safe Is Just a Shadow in 2010 and continued to amass new fans with their fresh, provocative sound. They then earned an opening spot on the 2012 All Stars Tour alongside bands like Suicide Silence, The World Alive, and Dance Gavin Dance. Ice Nine Kill's third album The Predator Becomes the Prey was released in 2014, claiming the top spot on the iTunes Metal Albums chart for the entire first week of its release.
I like the show it was first time for me and I really like it.
Ice nine kills is the best live band out there their intensity and passion on stage and Spencer’s charisma and energy as a front man can’t be beat!! No live band out there can compete with thier live show!!!
The bands were absolutely amazing! Sound was great. Venue was disorganized. GA fast lane ticket holders went from waiting outside in the cold to inside to get wristbands, back in line outside to the cold to wait again. Staff then allowed a wheelchair bound person onto the GA standing only floor. That person then made their way to the rail with their friends. Between the mosh pit and people crowdsurfing, the wheelchair caused people to trip and fall. And now you have someone who can't help crowdsurfers coming overhead and people around them are getting feet to the faces. Irresponsible not only by the person but the venue for allowing it!
The one negative thing I will mention first, I did a 12 hour Black Friday shift and missed New Years Day because of it. We got there to see Avatar, In This Moment and Ice Nine Kills and they all Killed it. Just great Metal core fun. The place looked sold out and there was not a bad seat in the house. All 3 band were great but In This Moment was the best of the night They rocked the house.
In This Moment and Ice Nine Kills DID NOT disappoint great seats great music and great performances!!! 5/5 WILL make them a 3rd concert ever

INK put on an amazing show. Their energy and theatrics are awesome.
This was the best show I've been to in my life. New years day was a great opener. Avatar blew us away with there energy and charisma. In this moment stage show and choreography was awesome. Ice nine kills pure energy for there entire set was amazing. Non stop action and they had the entire crowd on there feet going crazy. Absolutely absinthe experience.
This was my first time seeing INK & it was incredible. Wish I was in the pit up close feel like the experience would be extremely different than up in the stands but even in the stands I got chills, screamed, lost my voice & everything that can be experienced by an amazing incredible show.
INK absolutely brought the horror, gore and jams we all love! The stage presence was on point, the interaction with the audience was flawless and the whole experience was captivating! Wildly entertaining thru the whole show! I can’t wait to see them again.. and again… and again! I can’t stop watching the videos I took 🤘🏻
This is our 2nd Thankskilling as a family. My 3 adult kids had pit tickets, I had a reserved seat close to the pit so they could come to me if needed. My youngest had a meat and greet with the band and she has been on cloud 9 ever since. Great time, great crowd. Can’t wait for next year ❤️
Awesome show great music and effects would def see again in the future hopefully they will be back!!
I always try to catch an INK show when they are in the area because they are legitimately the best band!!
All the bands in this line up killed it they were all truly great performers. The sound in the venue was great too. Would love to go to another show
My very first time seeing Ice Nine Kills live despite listening to them for a very long time. It was well worth the wait and I’ll definitely be seeing them again!
Love how Ice Nine Kills adds theater elements to their live performances. Always a great show. Can't wait for another one
It Was Awesome! Can't wait for another show!!!!!!!
The concert was great. I always love Ice Nine Kills and In This Moment . I wasn’t a fan of the security at this venue though . I waited until toward the end to do just one crowd surf and as the security guard let me down he yelled no more . I know I am not the thinnest person but everyone should have the opportunity to surf at a concert , I only did it once that night , and Bruce Springsteen who’s the same size as me does it at all his concerts . That’s why I took a star away, but the concert was great so 4 starts for that .
Do you like Ice Nine Kills? Ice Nine Kills has become my favorite band to see on tour. Every chance I get I will be buying tickets to see them! All the hard work and dedication from everyone makes a great show! I love how the band is not only singing, but they have props and background actors that really makes it an exciting experience. I’m hoping to get VIP tickets next time! Can’t wait for next tour!
