Wonderful concert, ruined by a few

by Protagonist on 5/13/24Boch Center Wang Theatre - Boston

This concert should have started out with an announcement of some ground rules. I don't know why everyone in the lower audience felt the need to stand up the entire time. Other venues where Miku Expo had been played did not stand up. Myself and my disabled friends suffered. The 6-foot-something person in front of us stretched out their long limbs just to wave their lightstick around, blocking the view for several rows back. This person also threw their merchandise toy into the air several times, further blocking visibility for others. If the screen had started out in the air this wouldn't have been an issue. Or better yet, use the projectors from previous Miku Expo concerts. Merchandise was near-impossible to get to. It wasn't worth getting in line for anyway, with so few lightsticks and non-apparel items there were available.

    Watching TV together

by Maria on 5/12/24Prudential Center - Newark

The unadvertised LED screen was a horrible let down, especially because past event have ALWAYS utilized a hologram and the event organizers went out of their way to hide this fact as we purchased our tickets. I would never have paid so much if I knew ahead of time that this would be an LED screen, and seriously considered pressing for a refund. The merch stand was atrocious as well, with most people waiting in line well into the show and not getting anything. The ONLY redeeming factor was the live band who did incredibly.

good show but failed to live up to expectations

by Spen on 5/12/24The Anthem - Washington

priot years had a included a hologram that was not present. on top of that, had a poor selection of merchandise(no soundstracks), found lineup in past years to be better, and the lineup more catered to synching with the live rock band playing alongside. But overall decent show with the crowd and music. Worth going but could do better.

    Merch line from hell

by Dillon on 5/11/24Prudential Center - Newark

Only two merch spots for a giant concert was insane. Running out of glowsticks at a Miku concert is the height of incompetence. I stood in line for so long I missed half the concert. Finally, it was a huge disappointment using a TV screen instead of the holograms. Do better.

    My favorite concert experience

by Dylan on 5/11/24Prudential Center - Newark

As someone who has seen and worked at numerous concerts, this is the most involved I've ever felt in a concert setting. I love my friends and I love hatsune miku

    not enough merch

by faye m on 5/11/24Prudential Center - Newark

my friends and i loved this concert to bits even despite the lcd screen. it was so amazing to see miku and the crew for the first time since 2018!! the only downside was that there was not enough merch to go around AT ALL. the merch staff were very nice but slow and the lines moved slower than a snails pace as well...

    A Great Experience!

by AvePas on 5/10/24Prudential Center - Newark

Although the merch lines were insane, the security was great, the show itself was extremely fun, and everything seemed to be accounted for! Only wish the show was longer!!

    Epic!

by Pryze on 5/10/24Prudential Center - Newark

I loved the people on line waiting for the show. All wonderful people and kind and on top of it all quite a few freebies from many including food and drink! As someone who spent tons of hours waiting in the morning to get merch the wait went by quick with fans as great as these! As i waited on line the only thing was no nearby restrooms bar Wendy's but i get it since we're not waiting inside. Physical box office did let some women in to use restroom but not many. The line was updated every also often and our questions answered to the best of staff ability. SHOUT OUT TO THE LADY STAFF IN GREEN SHIRT bearing with us crazy fans waiting hours for merch lol. Once inside the staff was quick to help us pass the bag and metal detector check. I was first 10 for merch inside and although the person helping me really didn't know what characters I wanted and had to explain which character and what item, they still helped me as quick as they could ; i couldn't buy 2 light sticks which was also understandable. The concert itself was a blast with most people in unison with their light sticks although our chants and encore call were lacking mega lol. The LED Screen wasn't bad i had quite a few people blocking view but as long as i moved my neck a bit it would be better. Maybe an improvement could be a bigger screen which is more advice for crunchyroll than anyone else tbh. OH! The seats on floor being a bit apart instead of side by side may be more helpful since people of various figures sit and stand but standing sideways helped mitigate it a lot but still some elbow bumping into others. Overall had a blast and 10 out of 10 do it again and again and again and again!!!
