    Harry Belafonte 93rd birthday event

    by M. L. on 3/8/20Apollo Theater - New York

Seats were in the last row of the mezzanine. Not enough leg room. Couldn't see the video of Mr Belafonte , obstructed view. Sheila E didn't perform by herself. Common performed one song. Maxwell was a no show. If not for being out of town visiting NY, could have passed.

    Enjoyed The Entire Experience

by Tina Sings (Christina S) on 3/4/20Apollo Theater - New York

I appreciate the various artist who performed, the video footage, and acknowledgement of how Harry Belafonte contributed to not only our communities but the entire country. My boyfriend and I left that event feeling inspired and happy that we as teachers also contribute to our community.

    Amazing Evening

by Niki on 3/4/20Apollo Theater - New York

The evening was an amazing celebration of Harry Belafonte's life. There was a star-studded list of performers, visitors and music from choirs to Common, Talib Kwali and Aloe Blac sang his heart out. We were center orchestra back and had a perfect view.
