About

Heart formed in Seattle, Washington in 1973 and have rocked on through the years under the sibling core of Ann and Nancy Wilson. The group has released 16 studio albums, hitting the Top 10 seven times and topping the Billboard 200 with 1985’s Heart. The band have sold nearly 35 million albums worldwide. Early rock staples such as “Crazy on You,” "Barracuda” and “Magic Man” gave way to greater mainstream success in the ’80s with the group’s first Hot 100 chart-toppers, "These Dreams" in 1986 and "Alone” in 1987. Despite developing their own solo careers after their first hiatus in 1995, the Wilson sisters have reunited as Heart several times. In 2013, Heart was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The band have received four career Grammy nominations and received The Recording Academy Lifetime Achievement Award in 2023.

    Awesome concert!

by Glenn M. on 5/14/24Spectrum Center - Charlotte

The opening band was Cheap Trick. They were very good and put on a good show. Heart was amazing. They played a lot of the older stuff which everyone was elated to hear. I was so happy to see them on their 50 year Royal Flush anniversary tour.

    Great Concert

by Jeff on 5/14/24Spectrum Center - Charlotte

Excellent show, Cheap Trick can still punk it out and their new drummer is great. Can't believe Rick Nielsen can still handle the big 5 neck guitar. What can you say about Heart. Ann was and still is the best Rock Female Singer to come out of the 70's and beyond and she can still belt out their songs. Herself and Nancy still harmonize wonderfully, and their performance was spot on. Their band was tight and extremely good, they were outstanding musicians. So glad my wife and I were able to attend.

Heart was awesome, Cheap Trick needs a new sound guy

by Palabuc on 5/14/24Spectrum Center - Charlotte

Thoroughly enjoyed Heart and their band and their music selection and their talent I really wish I could’ve enjoyed Cheap Trick more but there sound guy have the volume so high that the sound was distorted and At points was so distorted that it actually caused feedback.

    Exceeded all Expectations!!

by Kevin on 5/14/24Spectrum Center - Charlotte

I have been a HEART fan for 5 decades. I wanted to see them again one last time as I would expect them to retire soon. I was hoping for at least a 6/10 performance. Beyond my wildest expectations I got a Total 10/10 experience. They played music from the beginning til present and it was awesome!! Ann’s voice was AMAZING!!! Nancy’s energy was over the top! The other band members ROCKED that arena. I could not have been more pleased.

Heart was great, hard to hear Cheap Trick

by BobPat on 5/14/24Spectrum Center - Charlotte

The sound system for Heart and ability to see them on screens made listening to heart an enjoyable event. I will give that part of show a A minus . However, sitting in section 231 and trying to see Cheap Trick visibly was very difficult, since there were no screens to actually see them. In addition, the music was so loud for Cheap Trick that you could barely hear any of the lyrics except for a little bit of this song, the flame. All other songs were muffled. Otherwise, the band I really want to see Cheap Trick was not ad enjoyable as in past. However, there were lots of plusses. . The temperature was comfortable. We had room around us and the bands did an awful lot of songs, although a couple were missing , but that’s always the case. Ann Wilsons’s voice sounds absolutely amazing. And she, and Ann Wilson really have great stage presence and we’re very clear in the sounds of nearly all their songs. The process of getting into an out of special center was very smooth and efficient as well.

Heart sounded great but personnel at spectrum need coaching

by Kathy on 5/14/24Spectrum Center - Charlotte

One of the best sounding concert at spectrum center in a long time. Great job sound techs! Easy in/out. My only requests: 1) lower prices food/drink 2) personnel need to be more understanding when someone with physical disability needs to stand for awhile against a wall, out of the way & be able to watch the show. I was told I needed to go to my seat or inside.

Heart was great show but the spectrum center has cramped space for seating. Will not attend any future events here.

    Heart was Fantastic!

    by Ticket2004 on 5/14/24Spectrum Center - Charlotte

Heart’s commitment to excellence was on full display. What an amazing performance, highly recommend anyone who has the chance to see them live should snatch up tickets asap. Cheap Trick was good but didn’t seem as sharp and on point, it sounded like the sound mixing was just a bit off from time to time.

    Amazing!

by Kris from Kirkland, WA on 5/14/24Spectrum Center - Charlotte

The Heart concert was amazing! Ann Wilson's voice is timeless. The girls are still rockin'! They brought fun surprises, played old and new songs, along with some awesome instrumentals (Nancy's tribute to Eddie Van Halen, drum solo, and guitar solo). It was a show you did not want to end!

    Best Concert Ever

by BB on 5/14/24Spectrum Center - Charlotte

Cheap Trick rocked it. Those guys put on a awesome show. Heart was my band in high-school. Ann and Nancy took me back to those days. They did an incredible show. Their voices are still solid and strong. Nancy played magic on her guitar. Spectrum Center was a great venue to see the bands. Thanks for a fantastic weekend.

    Artist, great! Venue, bad!

by Christie on 5/14/24Spectrum Center - Charlotte

The show was great but our area smelled like barf and the bag of saw dust that is used to throw on top of barf was on the stairwell right infront of us… confirming there was throw up there from the night before. I’m sure they do a superficial cleaning job but this was gross and they should’ve done better to clean that area up.

    Blown a way!

    by Fabulous123 on 5/14/24Spectrum Center - Charlotte

Cheap Trick opening was fun. They sounded good! But when Heart started playing we were shocked at how GREAT they sounded! These women are getting up in age but really & truly they were perfect. The musicians they had accompanying them were top notch. My boyfriend is from Europe and didn't know a ton about Heart. He is a HUGE fan now. He said "They are Artists". We felt honored to witness and experience such talent.
