GET THE LED OUT IN CONCERT:
Led Zeppelin's days of reunion touring may be over, but Get the Led Out's Zeppelin tribute show hits all the right notes for fans looking to reminisce over the iconic band's heyday. Handpicked by Jimmy Page himself to perform at one of his charity's fundraising events, Get the Led Out have the band's sound down to a tee, thrilling fans around the country with marathon sets of Zeppelin hits like "Whole Lotta Love" and "Stairway to Heaven." Fresh off a series of acclaimed 2013 shows, the band is sure to impress even the staunchest Zeppelin purists on their 2014 tour.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Get the Led Out formed out of a desire to acknowledge the influence the music of Led Zeppelin has had on all of the band's members. Eschewing the tribute band trend of visual mimicry, Get the Led Out instead focus on entirely recreating the great band's legendary sound, including extensive gear nerdery and use of period instruments like the theremin. Singer Paul Sinclair sounds remarkably like Robert Plant, and guitarist Paul Hammond does a mean Jimmy Page — add the rest of the band and you've got an uncanny sonic resemblance that achieves the difficult task of passing muster with Zeppelin purists.
FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:
"The next best thing to seeing Led Zeppelin live - loved every minute of it and will definitely see them again."
"Just absolutely fantastic. They did play a lot of lesser known songs of Led Zep but played all the hits as well. The recreation of studio version of" Whole Lotta Love" using theremin was, in a word, fantastic."
"If you are a Led Zeppelin Fan, or just enjoy watching spectacular musicians perform some classic rock at its finest... You will never regret seeing this band . Always an incredible show."
Awesome musicians! Close your eyes and you will think it is Led Zeppelin. A must see show!
Band had no energy or chemistry on stage. I was looking forward to seeing them live and was so disappointed.
Unbelievable talent ! Incredible people ! Amazing fans ! Live them ❤️❤️They never disappoint
Can’t wait to see them again. Closest ya gonna get to hearing the real thing. Fantastic band. Sound is perfect. I love this band. Will follow them as much as possible. Heading to Seaside Hrught June 8. Oh definitely.
All I could say is WOW! What a great show! Never got to Zepplin a long time ago, but this is the next best thing. The band was great, drummer was amazing and the lead sounded just Plant!!! Will definitely go see them again when they’re back in town!!!❤️🤘🏼
As a “repeat offender” I can only say that GTLO gets BETTER every single show!!! Phenomenal!!!
Good show but could do without Moby Dick and drum solo. So many more great songs to choose from.
If you ever get a chance to go see this band, get the led out do not hesitate. You will not be disappointed. They are the one of the better Led Zeppelin tribute bands in the area possibly the whole United States. I am a repeat defender. I’ve seen them 10 times and every time I see them I can’t believe that they’re that good and I always go because they are that good.
Get the LED out was a great concert. The seating was very tight when seated for three hours. Will see them the next time they are here.
Concert was great!!! Music can be a little less loud.
If you like Zep, this is your show. Close your eyes and you would think it’s really them!
If are a Led Zeppelin fanatic snd have not yet seen Get The Led Out you are doing yourself a disservice! Every song sounds like the album. A must experience. I will go amd see them everytime they are close to my area..Yes..I am a repeat offender!
Seeing GTLO again at Penns Peak always brings back good memories, but this was a special show being 420 and their 41st time there at that venue did not disappoint. Having 2 back surgeries over the last year I was worried about standing but the Penns peak staff and the bus ride people of level 2 entertainment I rode up on took great care of me. I had a great seat for the whole show. The seat was so good the band did something I had never seen there before. They came out from the stage into the crowd and there I was sitting with Paul Hammond and Tommy Zamperelli playing right n front of me. What an experience!!!
The show is always great. Well worth every penny and then some. You will never be disappointed.
We were not fortunate enough to see Led Zeppelin in our life times but owned 8 tracks, cassettes, albums, CD's', Ipods and both AM and FM Stations we have listened to Zep over the years! Get the Led Out! Did just that they not only got it out the hit it out of the Park! Great show! The Birds
The Band is great but they need to shorten the drum solo it is way too long.
This was a fabulous concert at Penn’s Peak! The food at Roadies was great and very economical!! I danced all night at the concert! The lights were great too!
I’ve followed GTLO online for a long time & was so excited to finally see them. The first half of their set was performed by the band I came to see. The second half was mostly acoustic & it felt like the band was just tired. After they did Stairway, there are usually 3 songs, ending the set w/Whole Lotta Love. We only got 2 songs. They didn’t get a standing ovation & never came back for a group bow after leaving the stage. They just walked off. Disappointed after waiting so long to see them.
Great band! Played all the classics with perfection.
I have seen GTLO many times and they never disappoint. They are liable to play absolutely anything from the entire Zep catalog,so you never see the same show twice. Each if the band members are terrific and they are amazing together. So lucky they come our way regularly.
