Nice venue parking was confusing (but free)! Good drinks and food options. Good view and monitors for up close views.
Garbage has been performing together for close to 30 years at this point, and I've seen them in various venues since the late 90s, and they ALWAYS put on a great show. Shirley has a natural ability to connect with the audience. It's not an easy task for a band that uses a lot of electronic elements like loops and such to sound the same live as they do on record, but Garbage manages to do this effortlessly.
Garbage was amazing as always! LiveNation upgraded our seats all the way up to orchestra and we couldn't have been more thankful or surprised. We have never had that done at an event and were super impressed! Thank you LiveNation!
Everything was perfect...one of the best shows ive ever seen!
The bands were fantastic, the venue was clean and orderly. Everything started on time, I just wish it could have lasted longer!
Great venue only wish Noel could of played a full set not just one hour Garbage great set again short set only 80 mins don’t know if that’s due to the venue or just doing shorter sets now.asttime I saw them played over 2 hours
I am a Garbage superfan, so wanted to go to the show for them alone at first until I heard Metric was playing with them as well. Shirley Manson (of Garbage) has really kept her voice and general performance skill level well-trained. The only issue I had with the show was that my friend and I went early to make sure to be able to be seated by 7 so as not to miss any of Metric. They started playing around 6:45 while we were walking from the parking lot into the venue, a giant outdoor amphitheater that sounds distorted until you get in front of it... so it was a shame to miss 15 minutes of maybe a 35-40 minute total set. I was disappointed to miss so much of Metric, so I would ask a show start time be the actual start time? Otherwise, it was great! Maybe it's just me wanting more of a good thing, but I'm sure I'm not alone in this feeling- at least for those who also like Metric.
No matter how many times I see them, it’s always great! It’s my 4th time seeing them and they never disappoint.
We mainly went to see Metric, which is my wife's favorite band. I realize they were the opening, opening act, but we were a little disappointed that they only played for 30 minutes or so. Gallagher and Garbage played much longer. Really enjoyed Garbage too.
My boyfriend & I listen to my Spotify, filled with '90s music, all our nostalgic alternative hits from when we were growing up. So awesome to see & hear in person some of our favorite iconic songs. Saw Garbage, in 2002 when they opened for No Doubt(who I am a super fan of) Garbage today still rocks just as hard, puts their all into the show & it was mind-blowing!
Concert was great! I’m glad Noel Gallagher playes some of the old Oasis hits. Shirley Manson and Garbage did an awesome performance with all the hit we wanted to hear!
Metric was good, the break in between was long. They food selection wasnt great. Garbage was good.
Garbage- absolutely freaking fabulous. Full of life, good sound, interactive. The chairs at the amphitheater are comfortable and have cup holders, they came in handy. The only bad part of the evening? The guy singing loudly behind me through the whole set. His voice sucked!
As a GenX.....we love Garbage. Shirley is a female hero to us all and the band delivered the goods. Noel Gallagher was also good but was happy that Garbage had the opening slot. Catch them on tour of you can.
The bands were all fantastic Garbage, Noel Gallagher and the High Flying Birds and Metric. No complaints about the music. I wish that the water was less expensive and was actually cold. $5 for a can of water that is somewhat cold is not pleasant and disappointing. I think if I am spending $5 on a can of water it should be one of the best cans of water I have ever purchased. I spent $20 on water that evening in addition to another $80 on alcoholic beverages and other food. I just think there has to be a less expensive way to serve water. If not less expensive then I am sure you can make it colder
Love the exposure to the London bands. Don’t see as much of this genre in Amphitheater and stadiums. Would love to see more
Long time Garbage fan and always glad to see them at MidFlorida Amp. Took a chance on VIP Club Access for this G tour and it was so worth it. First time buying the add on. A little oasis of calm in a sweat stew of FL summer heat. All the wait staff and security staff were absolutely wonderful. Truly sweet and attentive people. So worth the money!
The sound and bands were great but the weather made things miserable. Temperature and humidity were very high despite the sun having already set. The breeze was the only thing that kept it bearable. Parking was very close to a mile walk. Food choices left me wanting and from what we did get the items had been premade tasting over cooked and hard from being under a heat lamp, most likely to deal with high demand from the concert attendees.
She got a little political. But, overall they were a fun time. I’d say I left a bigger fan than I came in. Definitely a solid 3.5-4/5
