    Garbage is BACK!!!

by eulogy on 4/12/12El Rey Theatre - Los Angeles

Saw Garbage at the first LA show and they were amazing. Great stage presence, tight music synchronization, and tons of energy. They tore the roof off of the El Rey Theater. I had only seen Garbage live on TV but this was my first time ever going to a Garbage live show and it did not disappoint. I will definitely go back and see them again. They were amazing!

    A Perfect 90's Kid Moment

by ErikJMac on 4/11/12El Rey Theatre - Los Angeles

Incredible show! Laura Escude opened the show with a fantastic, modern performance that infused elements of classical music with contemporary dance/electronic/dubstep. Quite an eclectic artist with a remarkable talent. Garbage was remarkable! Shirley Manson hasn't aged in 15 years. They performed a perfect set with a heavy focus on hits from their first two albums, and sprinkled in just a couple of new songs from their forthcoming album. Shirley said it perfectly, "it's been a long time. You've changed. We've changed. You've grown, we've grown. You've hurt, we've hurt." Glancing around at the audience, it was evident that these fans were all spawns of the 90's grunge/rock pop era. During Garbage's prime, we were angsty teens, fighting against the man in any way we could. Now, as we've all grown up, everyone in that room embrace

LOVED this show. Played just the right amount of new (not too many, 3) and old songs. Lots of energy. Great small venue.

    WELCOME BACK GARBAGE!!!

by stix66101 on 4/11/12El Rey Theatre - Los Angeles

The show was awesome, they brought down the house! I got there early so I found a spot right next to the stage front, it was great to be that close, a rare treat. I'm so happy to see them back and it was wonderful to see them having fun and enjoying the energy together. It's refreshing to see them back and sounding as good as they have ever been. The music scene desperately needs some changes and new sounds like Garbage to shake things up! I

Garbage is back and rockin it!

by Christy777 on 4/11/12El Rey Theatre - Los Angeles

The show was amazing! The band looks fantastic and sounds just as amazing! I'd been waiting 15 years (I'm 21 and have been a fan since I was little thanks to my sister) and it was worth it. The set list was awesome and hearing some of their new songs was such a treat. If you have the chance to see Garbage, do it! They rocked it!

An amazing show! My throat was sore the next morning after singing the whole night. Despite the fact that I was exhausted the next morning at work, I am SO happy that I went!! Hope they come back to LA soon!!
