Did not know what to expect but it was amazing! A great show for the kids and my parents!
The absolute best cirque show I have seen so far (I have seen nine of them). Even the theatre and stage it Self were a marvel.
A bit more theatrical than other Cirque performance that I've seen, but very well done and worth catching.
Ka is more like a play with a story line from beginning to end. We saw a few people walk out because of the format. It is intense on the music, theatrics and the acrobatic action. Not allowed to take pictures but I saw a few videotaping. The acrobatics take place mainly on the wall that tilts or goes completely straight sometimes without being secured to a cable, so perhaps that is the reason for no pics.
Unbelievable show! Incredibly show! Everyone needs to see who plans to travel to Las Vegas.
It was just amazing! The staff was totally georgous and the show itself was just wow!!!
I saw KA from the second row last weekend. I thought this was a great show. Enormous scale throughout the theater. This show had a story that was a little more coherent that most of their shows. The show is about 90 minutes with no intermission. The time passed very quickly. By now I have seen most of their Vegas shows. I recommend this show if you are a fan of Cirque du Soleil.
The music, awesome talent, and non-stop excitement make for an unforgettable evening. There is a loose storyline of a young royal brother and sister who are torn apart by enemy warriors, and their journey to be reunited. I find it impossible to choose one favorite moment. Here are just a few: There are circular, spinning "cages" with 2 men inside them, then on the OUTSIDE of them, impossibly running and leaping, defying gravity. They were incredible. Beautiful music plays as a dazzling man on a long "vine" gracefully and artfully glides above the stage, flirting and encouraging a lovely young woman who also "flies" over the stage. A huge, colorful "centipede", starfish, turtle, and crab bring subtle, but hilarious humor to two visitors on a sandy beach. The stage changes unbelievably to physically challenge the warriors in the story. The athletic skills of the cast are awesome, a word which is often over-used, but an apt description of this cast and show. I could watch the show again and again.
Had high expectiations seeing the show in the Worlds Away-movie. In general, the show is very good but the grand finale was just a projection and that's and that's a big disappointment.
The most beaultiful show ever I've seen! Everything is perfect.
The show was amazing, the scene and the costumes as well, but the change they made last year to the show is lame. The final battle is PROJECTED on a giant battlefield, there are no artists involved anymore, you just watch a projection of what used to be "an epic battle". I was totally disappointed and it highly affected my overall impression...
tells a story with an interesting plot but it gets tiresome and loses the charm
We were excited about the show because we saw many good reviews about it. For our disappointment, however, they cut exciting parts of the show. Worst is that they did not mentioned that when we acquired the tickets. It was really disappointing and frustrating.
wonderful event ! superbe spectacle, rien à dire, vaut le prix.
The first time i went to see this in 2005 it was sold out, then the second time a month later the theater was flooded so the show was cancelled, in 2009 the cast were on Holidays so i finally booked for 30th Sept in Feb of this year and i was not disappointed. The show was worth the wait, i had the soundtrack for 9 years and at last could put the performance to the music. Personally its the best of all the Cirque shows i saw and this includes "O", Zarkana & Mystére. Will go back to Vegas in 4 years or so and will go again to see Ká with my wife & her Sister.
Any Cirque show is pretty amazing, so it was good. But they seem to be reaching here, overlaying a martial arts theme and plot that comes off rather childish. At these ticket prices, I'd rather see real creativity than another version of contemporary entertainment aimed at the young.
This theater is unbelievably beautiful. The show is fabulous, until the end. Apparently there was an accident awhile back during the final battle scene and someone died. SO, they no longer perform that scene live. Instead, they show a HORRIBLE video of what the scene used to be. I mean, it's extremely poor quality. Also, because you have just watched over an hour of live performance, it's totally off putting to suddenly watch a low-def video. It's just a total letdown at the end. If they aren't going to perform that battle scene live any more, they need to create a new battle scene and use it instead. I mean seriously, why bother.
Great performance. Wonderful story, costumes, acrobatics.
The show was good not bad but the problem they are now using more effects than before.
Thoroughly enjoyed KA! Unique in its own right from the other Cirque shows. I've seen Mystere, O, and Beatles versions and this is my favorite! Well worth the cost in section 102.
