Chris Tomlin Concert Schedule

Chris Tomlin is a singer and songwriter in the Christian music industry, best known for huge hits like "How Great Is Our God" and "Indescribable." His live performances are treated like one big worship time, and fans can expect clear vocals, a strong faith-based message, and a full band accompaniment. Tomlin's tours include the 2018 Worship Night in America Tour, the 2017 Chris Tomlin Christmas Tour, the 2007 How Great Is Our God Tour, the 2010 Hello Tomlin Tour, the All Things New Tour and various tours with Passion Conferences. Some of his biggest accomplishments have been winning a Grammy for the Best Contemporary Christian Music Album for And If Our God Is For Us... in 2012 and dozens of nominations and wins at the GMA Dove Awards. Tomlin also won Top Christian Artist and Top Christian Song at the Billboard Music Awards in 2011.

Chris Tomlin Background

Chris Tomlin was born the town of Grand Saline, Texas, on May 4, 1972. He was the oldest of three boys, and his father was the first person to introduce him to music when he gave him his first guitar. Tomlin started writing his own worship music at the young age of 14. He went to college at Texas A&M University to study physical therapy but continued to work as a worship leader at area youth conferences. In 1997, pastor and motivation speaker Louie Giglio asked Tomlin to work with Passion Conferences -- a Christian organization targeted at young adults -- and that's where his Christian music career really began. His first solo album was released in 2001, and he has had several songs hit the top of the Christian Copyright Licensing International charts. He keeps a fairly private family life, but fans can connect with him on Twitter @ christomlin

    Extremely Uplifting

by lilacrose on 5/5/24Angel Of The Winds Arena - Everett

As the most unchurched region of America, I was impressed that the arena was almost full on a weeknight. The roar of well over 3000 people singing worship songs gave me goose bumps. All ages, many ethnicities, all singing praise to God was a glimpse on a small scale of what we will experience in heaven someday. The energy of Cain's performance was well balanced against Chris Tomlin's more heart felt, passionate performance. Chris Tomlin is probably the premiere worship singer in America (in my opinion). He writes most of his songs and his desire to worship and honor God is obvious and refreshing. His music truly brings one into the presence of God. The audience loved Chris and wouldn't let him go when the concert ended. The way both singers interacted with the audience was delightful. The only thing that bothered me was that the instruments often overwhelmed the singers, making it difficult to hear them. Maybe that's an arena thing? If I could give this experience 10 stars I would.

The BEST concert I’ve even been to. Never sat down, danced all night with my daughter and had a blast. We love Chris! Thank you so much for being that love, inspiration, and power of Jesus and the presence of the Holy Spirit to lift us up. We are still on High.

Best time of worship and praising the Lord

by TerryB on 5/5/24Angel Of The Winds Arena - Everett

It was the best concert I have been to. Chris Tomlin is amazing and brings us into the presence of God through his worship and praise. It didn't feel like a production, just a time to praise the Lord. I will go to his concert again!!!! It was so great to hear thousands of voices singing praise together.

    Fabulous Experience

by DL on 5/5/24Angel Of The Winds Arena - Everett

Cain and Chris Tomlin provided an unbelievable evening of music and worship. The arena was live and didn't want the experience to end. We look forward to the next opportunity to participate in one of their concerts.

    Uplifting and Fun

by Lilly on 5/1/24Cable Dahmer Arena - Independence

This was my confirmand's first concert and it's an understatement to say she had a blast. We first heard Chris's songs at workcamp over the summer. When I found out he was gonna be in the area, I decided to get us tickets for her confirmation. She told me being able to sing and praise was so uplifting. She has been stressed with school and life and felt that be lifted off of her shoulders. We had so much fun listening to songs both new and old to us. The day after the concert, Thank You Lord, was playing on the radio. I hadn't heard this song before last night and it instantly was added to my playlist.

    Revelation 4 & 5

by Anon on 4/30/24Cable Dahmer Arena - Independence

Amazingly worshipful. Very likely the closest I will come to the worship described in Rev. 4 and 5 this side of eternity.

by Maggie on 4/30/24Cable Dahmer Arena - Independence

Chris Tomlin led an amazing 90 minutes of great worship music, which had the crowd singing along. Always a great experience. Pat Barrett was a good lead in as warmup.

    Best Worship Concert!

by Julie on 4/30/24Cable Dahmer Arena - Independence

I absolutely enjoyed every second of this concert! My husband and I had seen Chris Tomlin in concert for his. Love runs red tour several years back, but hadn’t been able to see him since then, and I was not disappointed! Besides his music, I love his energy, sincerity, and most of all his smile! His songs bring you into a place of worship no matter where you are!

    good but not best ever

by Nean on 4/30/24Cable Dahmer Arena - Independence

Good, but not best out of the 4 times I've seen him, The World Vision Childrens fund raiser was over the top, way to long and to much pressure, trying to make folks feel guilty if they did not participate. Tone it way down! Folks around me were saying same thing so not just me. Warm up guy was good, but having his wording bigger on screen would have been helpful. Music way to loud, to the point was hard to hear the performer. Even Chis Tomlin's music was to loud in spots and often drowned out the lyric. Chris is good enough he doesn't need to be overpowered by music. The concert was good, but comparing it with 3 previous performances by Chris Tomlin was kind of disappointing. Bring back Louie Giglio!

    Chris tomlin was Terrific!

by Happy Joe on 4/30/24Cable Dahmer Arena - Independence

The Chris Tomlin performance was truly wonderful! I also noticed at this concert the EVENT STAFF did a great job. Last time we waited 30 minutes in line to get in and the staff was poorly organized! Not this time - good job!

An absolute blessing from beginning to end...

by Rajean on 4/30/24Cable Dahmer Arena - Independence

I could not have asked for a better experience for my one concert this year. I rarely can afford more than one a year and this is the one I chose and it did NOT disappoint. Cain was absolutely wonderful and I was surprised at how many of their songs I knew. Chris Tomlin? AMAZING... I sang until I was hoarse and I can sing a lot, but you can't just sing Chris's songs, you have to shout in praise. And, boy!, did I! It was such a joyful, praise-filled night that I needed! Thank you, Lord, for artists such as these.

    Intimate Worship

by Ron Jr on 4/30/24Cable Dahmer Arena - Independence

Great venue! Not a bad seat in the house! From the beginning to the end, a night of intimate worship. The sound was neither loud nor soft but just right. You could hear vocals clearly and the music behind the singers was flowing. Clearly, Transparent Productions and their artists provide a great setting to allow worship!! We need more of this in our world.

    Amazing!!!

by SH on 4/30/24Cable Dahmer Arena - Independence

If I could leave 10 stars, I would. I saw Chris Tomlin a couple years ago in St Louis and that concert paled by comparison to this one. Absolutely amazing and the crowd was awesome. I’ve been to a ton of concerts but this by far was one of the best. Definitely would go again if given the chance. Thanks Chris!!!

    Less sales pitch

by Keek on 4/30/24Cable Dahmer Arena - Independence

We absolutely LOVE Chris Tomlin and he was PHENOMENAL! I was so moved by his music, he is my very favorite Christian artist ever. The only reason I didn’t give a five star review is because of the 25 minute sales pitch on donating to an organization helping children. I’m certainly not against that but I think it could be done effectively with a 5 to 10 minute presentation, it just went on and on seemingly forever. Other than that, it was an incredible and powerful evening of worship and we will see him again next time he’s in town!
