The special debuted on Netflix's Top 10 and has been nominated for three Emmys and a Grammy.  The special was the culmination of his Ego Death World Tour.

Rock can currently be seen starring opposite Colman Domingo in the Higher Ground produced and George C. Wolfe directed biopic, "Rustin," in theaters and streaming on Netflix now.

Next up Rock will be collaborating with Steven Spielberg on a film about the life of Martin Luther King Jr. Rock will direct and produce the project, with Spielberg on board as executive producer. His animated series "Everybody Still Hates Chris" is set to stream globally on Paramount + and Comedy Central. Rock serves as the executive producer and narrator.

He can recently be seen in Sally Potter's short film, "Look at Me" and David O'Russell's, "Amsterdam."

In 2021, Rock starred as Loy Cannon in season 4 of FX's Emmy-winning drama series "Fargo."  He also teamed up with Lionsgate and Twisted Pictures in the reimagining of the newest Saw franchise movie, "Spiral," in which he produced and starred in. In 2014 he led the ensemble cast of "Top Five," a critically acclaimed comedy feature that he also wrote and directed. In 2009 Rock ventured into the documentary world as a writer and producer of "Good Hair," and in 2014 he executive produced "Eat Drink Laugh: The Story of the Comic Strip," a documentary recounting the history of one of New York's most famous comedy venues.  His feature acting credits include The Week Of, the Grown Ups and Madagascar franchises, 2 Days in New York, Death at a Funeral, Nurse Betty, Dogma, the hip-hop comedy CB4, and New Jack City.

His television work includes serving as a cast member on "Saturday Night Live" from 1989 - 1993 and as executive producer, writer and narrator for the series "Everybody Hates Chris." The series ran from 2005 - 2009 and is still one of the highest rated syndicated shows in the world.

Table Read - Just wasn't funny

by Lauren on 5/8/24Hollywood Palladium - Hollywood

Being part of Netflix is a Joke Fest, I thought this show was going to be funny. But it was just literally a group of people reading the script of When Harry Met Sally. It wasn't bad for what it was, but it just wasn't what I was expecting at all. I felt disappointed and that I had wasted my money.

    Terrible

by MatthewP on 5/7/24Hollywood Palladium - Hollywood

You would think that going to see Chris Rock might be guaranteed to make you laugh, not this show! It wasn’t even mildly entertaining. Watching a bunch of actors / Chris’s friends do a read through of the entire When Harry met Sally movie cannot be considered interesting, after all the movie wasn’t exactly a barrel of laughs was it? Chris’s crew didn’t bring anything different to it either, although they mentioned giving it a ‘black twist’ I felt that it was like being the little boy in the Emperors Clothes, can’t the audience see that this is terrible, or does no one dare say anything. If the proceeds weren’t going to charity I’d ask for my money back Stick to stand up Chris, you might make us chuckle

    Meh

by The ronk on 5/7/24Hollywood Palladium - Hollywood

Should have been marketed as a table read. A lot of people left early because they thought he was doing stand up. Overall was fine, not a lot of laughs, and not something I would go to again.

It has to be your cup of tea

by Michael H on 5/7/24Hollywood Palladium - Hollywood

We knew what we were getting into, we knew it wasn’t a stand up., but was hoping Chris Rock’s spin on Harry Met Sally would add a little spice to it, but for the most part it was the same script with a few substituted worded. You have to be a movie geek to enjoy something like this. The majority of the read was very very dry, there were short moments of laughter. Overall it was an experience to say the least, I’d likely not do another.

    Disappointed

by Vi on 5/7/24Hollywood Palladium - Hollywood

Table reads should not be aloud for comedians especially for Netflix comedy minth. Everyone thought Chris Rock would be stand up comedy. So many people walked out, did not know the movie and never watched the the movie so they were bored. Not funny at all. We pay to see stand up comedy. Highlight of the night was Dave Chappelle.

    Boring

    by ComedyFan89 on 5/7/24Hollywood Palladium - Hollywood

It wasn’t at all what we expected. It was Chris Rock and 8 other comedians reading When Harry Met Sally script. It wasn’t entertaining or funny - especially to the people who have never seen the movie. The chairs were super uncomfortable too.

I could have read that book for free

by Lance on 5/7/24Hollywood Palladium - Hollywood

Chris rock is supposed to be funny? What happened? The best part of the night is when Dave chapelle came on stage to introduce Chris rock. What a horrible show all the way around. Not a single joke out of Chris rock. If not for alcohol and a smoking section I would have been snoring on my table. Lame. Never again.

    Just disappointed

by Vangie BonDurant on 5/6/24Hollywood Palladium - Hollywood

Not sure what to expect of the title "Table Talks", I truly wasn't expecting to sit and watch an hour of a script read of an old movie. I'm a movie- goer and a fan of comedy, but to my knowledge I've never seen a comedian read a movie script as part of his show. I'm not a comedian, and have no clue of what it takes to write a show that is true to the theme, conveys your message and appears natural and unrehearsed. I streamed his latest, Selective Outrage-it was excellent- and having never seen Chris Rock live, expected something similar. I sat through the first hour, and left feeling like maybe I missed the point. Considering the theme Netflix is a Joke, taping throughout Los Angeles this week, perhaps it was meant to spoof the audience. Perhaps too I missed the better second half...dunno. 😔

    Boring

by GJ on 5/6/24Hollywood Palladium - Hollywood

I didn’t expect this event to be so boring - it was just Chris Rock reading a story with other members. I was expecting him to interact with the crowd and tell some jokes - totally unexpected. My wife was falling asleep during this - I felt bad for Taking her out to this
