A feast for the eyes and ears and a great cultural experience. I enjoyed the music, costumes, and dancing. The venue was also spectacular. It was also a treat to see audience members dressed up in their traditional costumes.
Pomp and Circumstance, Grandeur and Spectacular Performances including the Highland Dancers. An Amazing show. I highly recommend.
The music was spectacular and the venue is outstanding. It brought back fond memories of all of the shows my mother took me to see when the different bands would come to the U.S. from the U.K.
I mostly went to take an elderly woman whose adult children used to compete in Bagpiping and Irish Dancing. I was impressed how much I enjoyed it. The music was good, they were talented. The formations on a stage were amazing. I do wish they had a bit more dancing but they were good.
The bands were excellent! The musicianship is unsurpassed, and their drills were very fun. They had the crowd clapping along, and everyone looked to have had a wonderful time. If you get the opportunity to see these fine musicians, do not miss it!
The Royal Marine and and the Scots Guard Pipes and Drums was the most wonderful concert. I have seen them twice now and just loved it!
The Royal Marines and Highland Dancers of the Scots Guard were spectacular
My first time at the Valley PAC. Lovely facility. Parking was easy, though about a 2 block walk to the garage. $6 for parking is OK. The audience was average age in their 70s to 80s. The traffic jam of audience members with assistance devices was a bit of a bother during rush moments of the short interval. Too many older guys in Dress Kilts. One in a lovely Tam o'shanter hat. The concession stand had coffee, expensive juice, wine and beer. Best yet was that they serve Pepsi, which almost never happens.
Very nice show. Uniforms beautiful - as is traditional. Musically wonderful - how one can get a marching band to perform classical music and jazz up to that standard is a fete beyond compare.
