The 85 South Show on Tour

Things are a little different down south, and that includes comedy. Now on tour and ready to take on audiences all across the U.S., the 85 South Comedy Show features three of the boldest, wildest and most hilarious comedians to ever travel the interstate that shares its name. The 85 South Show started its rise in the comedy world in 2015 when DC Young Fly, Karlous Miller and Clayton English teamed up in Steve Harvey's studio to begin recording a podcast that showcased their improv, freestyling and roasting skills. Comedy fans were quick to discover the chemistry between the three performers, whose past experiences included stints for DC Young Fly and Miller on Nick Cannon's MTV series Wild ‘N Out and English's triumphant win on NBC's Last Comic Standing in 2015. Their hit podcast brought further exposure to a trio whose comedy stylings are deeply rooted in the South they know and love so well. It spawned this sidesplitting live stage show to entertain audiences throughout the South and beyond.

The 85 South Show Background

The 85 South Show unites three of America's funniest and most fearless comedians. Born in Atlanta, DC Young Fly first caught on with viewers and followers via his inimitable online videos. His success as a YouTube personality and his over 800,000 followers on Vine led to recurring spots on the MTV series Wild ‘N Out and TRL. His 85 South teammate Karlous Miller is another veteran of Cannon's sketch comedy and improv showcase. A native of Oxford, Mississippi, Miller became a regular on the series' fifth season in 2013. Along with stages across the U.S. and Canada, Miller has made appearances on such television shows as Hell Date, Comic View and The Mo'Nique Show. The team is completed by Atlanta's Clayton English, a versatile stand-up and improv performer who finished in the top spot on NBC's Last Comic Standing in 2015. He made his TV debut on Late Night with Seth Meyers and can also be seen on the Netflix series Love. When not performing live, the 85 South Show's members pour their energy into a hit podcast that presents both the South's best new comedy talent and the hosts' incomparable freestyling skills.

    It was alright

by C. on 4/3/19North Charleston Performing Arts Center - North Charleston

I attended the Charleston , SC show . I felt that the group didn’t really understand Charleston culture to incorporate in their jokes . I am a fan who follows their YouTube show and felt other cities were funnier .

    Hilarious

by Monique on 4/3/19North Charleston Performing Arts Center - North Charleston

I love the show!!! It was funny from beginning to the end. The most memorable part was the shout out to Nispey Hussle and how we all need to come together as a people. To see 3 men coming together off the strength of love and the love for what they do is amazing. If they come to Charlotte or anywhere closer I will go see them again.

    The show was ok

by T. V. on 4/3/19North Charleston Performing Arts Center - North Charleston

The show was ok just my opinion I didn’t care to much for the roasting of people that they did but also I’ve never seen the show on tv either, but I was told after that’s what they do. Also the seats were terrible I’m a plus size woman and I could barely sit in it all the way and I saw a quite a few others having a hard time as well and were standing

    AMAZING SHOW!!!!

by Ressie26 on 1/24/19House of Blues Houston presented by Cricket Wireless - Houston

85 South show was everything. It was one of the funniest comedy shows I've been too. I bought VIP seats so that I can sit closer to the stage. I was so shocked and excited when I found out that my VIP seats came with Meet and Greet! I got to meet these three humble hard working guys and loved the show from start to finish.

    Funny

by Dee Dee on 1/24/19House of Blues Houston presented by Cricket Wireless - Houston

Show was too short and they could have possibly each did a small solo piece to give a better overall experience.
