Basketball court is so far away, that even sitting in Section 137, row 15 was REALLY far away, and to catch the action, we had to watch the jumbotron. I'd rather have watched from home on my own TV.

This could have been better experience
by TashMF on 2/16/10Cowboys Stadium - ArlingtonRating: 2 out of 5I was very excited to be a part of the 2010 NBA All-star game. I didn't, however, think the SRO would be as bad as it was. There was no room to stand unless you didn't want to watch the game. When I finally found a place where I could stand without being harassed by an event staff member, the halftime show was being announced. I'm sure it could have been a better experience but if there's not enough room for "X" number of people to stand and watch the game, that "X" number of tickets shouldn't be available to purchase.
Alicia Keys
by Anonymous on 2/16/10Cowboys Stadium - ArlingtonRating: 4 out of 5The stadium is massive and amazing, little overpriced for food and drinks but that is to be expected. Just thee whole All star weekend was fun filled and star studded.
Allstar was great but tickets were horrible!
by MyThoughts on 2/16/10Cowboys Stadium - ArlingtonRating: 4 out of 5Unfortunately I had the party passes. Horrible! Unless you are there early enough to be on the front row, you can't see anything. But that was my fault for not getting regular seats. The game itself was great. The game was very entertaining and half time was great too, eventhough I watched most of it on the TVs around Cowboys stadium. By the way, there's plenty of screens to catch the action if you can't see the court/field. It was fun to be a part of history in the making.
So much fun!!!
by BelieveMeToo on 2/16/10Cowboys Stadium - ArlingtonRating: 5 out of 5I hope they come back real soon. The half time entrainment was wonderful. The stage was spectacular. Worth every penny spent on the tickets.
All Star = Few Stars!
by nabber on 2/16/10Cowboys Stadium - ArlingtonRating: 3 out of 5No opening gate times indicated on ticket or website. Went to the Stadium that morning and was told gates open at 4pm - when actually it was 4:30pm. Got there early to walk around the outside - MAJORLY disappointed that there were not any activities. Then waited in the unusually COLD weather to get in, gates finally opened at 4:45. Had to open coat get pat down - arms, legs, and back. Then had to merge into another line because our line did not have enough staff for the metal detectors. Take all items out of pockets and wait while they wanded my binoculars then proceeded through the metal detectors - I was the 8th person in line and it took 20 minutes. PHEW.... after all that we had to then wait until 5:30 (actually did not open until 5:45) to get into the arena. This was HORRIBLE! They were selling beer and water - its freezing cold - how about having heaters out there? Then went to buy some souveniers right away. They crammed all the NBA stuff into one side of the store - hundreds, maybe even a thousand people there looking for the same items! Terrible job of merchandising - nobody was in the other half of the store that had only Cowboy items. Then after we bought our item (btw we paid $$85 plus tax - the program states it sells for $75) we had to walk back through the store to go up stairs. The sensors on the items were setting off the alarms! LOGISTICS were a nightmare there as well! Our seats were center court in the 400 level. There were not any ushers to help us find seats. Just some security checking tickets to get throgh a section of the 400 level - yep that's right the 400 level - making sure you had a ticket for the 400 level. Finally found our seats - I have great vision but it was dificult to see what was going on - thank god for the jumbotron.... with that being said I was thinking I might have been better off at a bar versus the stadium. The food selection was good and the drinks at the Bacardi and Absolute Club were fantastic! I liked that the stadium sold food and non-alcoholic beverages until after the game ended. The staff was nice and the atmosphere was good. Other than being understaffed on outside security, overcrowding the merchandise and being over charged - I had a good time! The stadium is itself was nice - the staff was friendly. I gave it 3 stars because of all the logistic problems - plus I am a bit mad that I was overcharged for the basketball!
Security Process was horrible!!!!
by M4M3150 on 2/16/10Cowboys Stadium - ArlingtonRating: 2 out of 5The Cowboys Stadium needs to revamp their security process. It made no sense that we had to wait in line for over an hour to get into the facility.

I was surprise to get tickets online at the last minute -- the venue and game was awesome. The parking and entrance sucked but overall once inside the game was fun.
Dallas Stadium is amazing!
by TonyTouch on 2/16/10Cowboys Stadium - ArlingtonRating: 5 out of 5With the 160 feet video board there is definitely no bad seat in the stadium. The experience at Jerry's World is unquestionably worth the travel and money.
All Star Practice
by vrtuous1 on 2/16/10Dallas Convention Center - DallasRating: 3 out of 5I was a little disappointed because they ran way behind on time and we paid to see the East and the West practice but only got a chance to see the East due to time constraints. That is not the paying customer's fault and we should not have been shortchanged due to their poor time management skills (whoever was organizing it).
Party Pass too crowded
by Bobby78 on 2/16/10Cowboys Stadium - ArlingtonRating: 2 out of 5Having a party pass isn't the way to go to this event. Awesome game but with no room to stand, you need a seat

The stadium was amazing!!
by sweetums10 on 2/16/10Cowboys Stadium - ArlingtonRating: 5 out of 5The stadium was unforgetable! I was so excited to be in the same area as all those celebrities. I can't say enough about the stadium and how it was designed. Since I bought my parking pass from ticketmaster, we were able to park really close to the event.
better venue for football
by yafman on 2/16/10Cowboys Stadium - ArlingtonRating: 2 out of 5The only thing worse than the view from our seats (we were sct 102 lower level) was the security line. I had been to a few cowboys games this past season (including the playoff win) and never had the security line stretched so far away from the main entrance before game time. Even after sitting in traffic we still arrived nearly two hours before tip off and still stood in the freezing cold (by Dallas standards) for one hour of it waiting for a pretty basic pat down and walk thru. Ridiculous. As for the game itself, even though we were lower level it was the corner that was behind the musical performance stage (there was no way to know this when purchasing) so we had an obstructed view of both live music and pre-game introductions. Even the basketball court seemed microscopic from that distance. For $200 apiece (face) I expected better. If I knew I was going to spend most of the time watching the giant monitor I would have just purchased 400 level seats at center court.
Historic All Star Game
by celtics324 on 2/16/10Cowboys Stadium - ArlingtonRating: 5 out of 5Phenominal stadium, Phenominal people, the prices were about what you would expect from any major sporting event, but not overpriced. The game itself was amazing, with the score tied in the final minute. Overall just an absolutely unfogettable experience.
AWESOME
by JBZ64 on 2/16/10Cowboys Stadium - ArlingtonRating: 5 out of 5What an experience. From LeBron James/Dewayne Wade's dunks, Shakira and Alicia Keys' halftime performances to the timeout entertainment by the NBA Mascots and Mavericks dancers. And not to mention the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleeaders. It was an amazing experience.

It was a great experience. If you arrived to the stadium early enough, the line for security wasn't as bad. We bought parking ahead of time so it was a breeze getting into the lot. We found our seats and enjoyed the fun. The pre-game concert was great along with the half-time show.
