Had a great time! But getting through security was a bear.
We did not like the viewing for this area. The acoustics was really bad, where you could not even hear the announcer very clear. The scoreboard blocked our viewing of the stage, and overall I don't think having a basketball game at this stadium was good. In smaller arenas you get feel of intimacy to the game, but at the larger venue, we got the feel of distance and were not engaged with the excitement of the game.
The performances were great. The basketball was just ok. With such a large stadium (which is pretty amazing by the way), more needs to be done to pull all 100k+ people into the game. While the game was being played, the stadium was too quiet and the energy died. We couldn't even hear the ball dribble; instead we heard silence. Wooo. Not that exciting, especially when the majority of the crowd is miles away from the tiny basketball court. I even saw a man fast asleep. Not a sign of an exciting event.
It ended up being fun! However, I was really disappointed that the practice time changed from 11:15 to 10:45 without any notice - we ended up missing the East practice which of course included Dwaye Wade, Dwight Howard, Lebron James, etc. I was really disappointed. However, it was nice to see the West - the don't really practice just shoot around for less than an hour. My husband really enjoyed seeing D-League game and the Harlem Glob Trotters. For $40 I'd go again - be patient it's a lot of people!
I was simply in awe as I walked into the Cowboy Stadium!!! I was not thrilled about having to wait outside in the cold, and things were a little confusing once you got inside. BUT overall, I'd do it all over again, except I might would've paid more for my seat. lol But the stadium is AWESOME, too damn expensive, BUT still awesome. I just didn't buy anything to eat OR drink!!! Couldn't bring myself to do it. loved the concerts & although the actual bball play was dull at times, there were some AMAZING dunks and I am glad I can say I was part of history...108,713 fans!!!
The experience was amazaing! I was amazed at the size of the crowd, the stadium - just the experience as a whole. Everyone was there Diddy, Chris Tucker, Drake, TO, Floyd Mayweather, Magic Johnson, Ludacris - just to name a few. My husband and I loved it. Our seats were great! The stadium was HUGH!! Leather seats - very comfortable. Food was expensive but that's at any event like this. I plan on taking my children next year in LA. If you can afford it I would diffenently recommended it.
I had the best time. It was a once in a life time event
My family had so much fun!!!!!!! They enjoyed the game!!!!!!!
I loved the game!!!!!! It was a great experience!!!!!!!
At first didn't know how a Basketball game would be in a Football Stadium. But they need to do it in Dallas again VERY SOON. I can see them getting a Final Four Champ game very soon .just loved it
Upon receiving an email from Tickmaster about an event occuring at 4:30pm at Cowboy Stadium, we arrived around 3:15pm in hopes of getting into the stadium early for this event. We were not allowed through the gates until 5:00pm and into the stadium at 5:30pm, needless to say we were very angry having to stand in very cold and windy weather for 2 hours. The pre-game show entainment (Usher), the half time entainment (Shakira and Alicia Keys), and the game was great and awesome! The Cowboy Stadium the most beautiful stadium I have ever been in, super duper! But Jerry and all involved in the planning should have considered the fans more than they did.
The atmosphere, Cowboy's Stadium, the celebrities...it was an amazing time! Would highly recommend it to anyone interested in NBA basketball and am looking forward to one day going to another game!
The Cowboy Stadium is amazing! Its like another city in there. The seats I bought were pretty good. Tons of concession stands to purchase food and drink and the prices were pretty reasonable. The only bad experience was actually getting into the stadium. The lines for the security check was ridiculous, almost wrapped around half of the stadium. Also, there are separate entrances for the type of seats you purchase. So we had to walk around the entire complex in the cold weather. I heard the wait in the security line was almost 2 hours...I can't wait til the All Star game is in Los Angeles next year!
The event was boring. smh not going next year. but seems like if i was closer i would have enjoyed it more.
The stars was truly on deck for this event!!! great
Cowboys stadium is an unforgettable site to see!!! you must see this in person!!!
never ever put this game in the cowboy stadium! it was way to packed!
everything was right on point..from food, entertainment, music, stadium and the great people of Texas...
I had a great time. The Cowboy Stadium was amazing. I can wait until next year.
The arena is amazing. There are plenty of restrooms and concession stands. The stairs are steep. The tv screen is huge. The seats are comfortable. The stadium has so many little things that someone put a lot of work into. It was a great night!
