by Evren on 2/15/10Cowboys Stadium - ArlingtonRating: 4 out of 5

GREAT SHOW GREAT CONCERT!!! Loved the Shakira and other shows... Despite the fact that our seats were quite far, We were still able to follow what was goin on down there.. lots of entertainment lots of things to do at Cowboys stadium.. One thing they can improve upon is that the acoustics in that stadium could be better..

  • All-star fun!

by NBAFanman on 2/15/10Cowboys Stadium - ArlingtonRating: 4 out of 5

Overall it was a fantastic event with excellent entertainment. We really had fun, and the game was great. The music acts were a real bonus - a great sport event combined with a concert. The halftime and game break entertainment was great too - can't go wrong with the Dallas Cowboy cheerleaders! There were a few challenges more due to the Cowboy's stadium than the event. The way it is laid out it is very hard to determine where the section entrances are. It was literally freezing out, and the staff would not allow you to enter one section and walk to another. The staff did not know the gate locations. We first walked up near the G section entrance, but two staff told us we had to walk all the way around the to the back of the stadium, which we did only to find out they were wrong - we did a full circle right back to the first gate. Along the way none of the other gates were correct either. They could have had more souvenier stands - the line to buy anything was way too long. The event could have made more money if so.

  • All Star Game was The Bomb!

    by Jordana1 on 2/15/10Cowboys Stadium - ArlingtonRating: 5 out of 5

We had so much fun at the game. The only real complaint would be the workers/event staff that didn't know the answers to any questions. They didn't know where Will Call or the Tickets were, and just kept telling you to ask other workers who either didn't speak English or didn't know anything. Once we got to our side we had to wait for 2 hours in the freezing cold and then be told we had to separate into lines of 4 groups of women and 4 groups of men. They said we would get in at 5:30. When 5:30 hit they were still waiting on instructions from Supervisors.....we still waited and there were women with babies and other families with children who needed to go to the bathroom. When they finally got the ok to let us in things inside the venue went much more smoothly. I enjoyed everything about the New Cowboys Stadium and think Jerry Jones did an excellent job with this venue! I am sooooo looking forward to the Superbowl next year and other concerts and events to be held here! Go EAST! Dewayne Wade Alll Day Baby, Allll Day!

  • Dallas is Hot

by Terrye on 2/15/10Cowboys Stadium - ArlingtonRating: 5 out of 5

The event's program was above any previous NBA All Star Game and its inclusive activities. Next time, I will try to save up to purchase a seat. It gets very crowded in the Baseline standing areas. However, just being in the atmosphere and facility were amazing.

  • Cowboys Stadium Line Control needs Improvement!

by PlatinumGirl on 2/15/10Cowboys Stadium - ArlingtonRating: 3 out of 5

Attending my first All Star game was an amazing experience I will treasure. It was the waiting in line to get inside the arena that I would like to forget. After waiting in one line for over 45 mins only to be told that my ticket could only be entered on the other side of the bldg was a bit frustrating. Once in the other line, there was another 45 min wait! Total 1 hour and 30 mins! My suggestion: have ppl near the end of the lines to tell the customer if they are in the right line or not...being so far back, it was hard to see the signs at the front of the line. In addition, the sound system was horrible! Could NOT understand a word the in house commentators were saying. Overall Avg review based on logistics!

  • NBA knows how to entertain!

by ScarletNinja on 2/15/10Cowboys Stadium - ArlingtonRating: 5 out of 5

The event was awesome and the entertainment was great. However the long lines and traffic were not. I guess that is to be expected with 108k people though.

  • NBA All Star Game 2010

by Anonymous on 2/15/10Cowboys Stadium - ArlingtonRating: 2 out of 5

The game was good, the audio was horrible. You couldn't hear the announcers or videos. No game sounds (dribbling, ball hitting the rim/net, shoes squeaking) Just made the game feel very disconnected. Would no go to another BB game here. I'll keep the American Airline Center wonderful venue. The staff at Jerry World was friendly.

  • too big for a basketball game

by clizdog on 2/15/10Cowboys Stadium - ArlingtonRating: 4 out of 5

first of all, i loved the actual game. i got to watch the best basketball players in the world compete on one court, and it was great. the problem is that cowboys stadium is just too big for a basketball game. i'm sure the floor seats were amazing, but you had to be a celebrity or vip in order to sit there. for the other 100,000 of us, the court was just too small. the tickets were too much money for the views. i didn't mind paying $250 for my ticket, but my view was worth maybe $100. one bit of advice for the next basketball game at cowboys stadium: make sure the crowd can hear the basketball noise. the dribble of the ball, the ball on the backboard and rim. american airlines center in dallas does a great job of this at mavericks games. the goal is miked so even if you're in the 300 level seats, you can hear the stuff, and it feels like you're a lot closer. there was a major disconnect between the game and the fans. the huge screen is incredible, and it helps, but without any audio it's kinda like watching it on mute.

  • Historic

by ThreeR on 2/15/10Cowboys Stadium - ArlingtonRating: 5 out of 5

The venue was amazing. It was too cold for the fans to wait outside or enjoy the plaza activities but everything else was great. The performances by Usher and Alecia Keys were over the top. The game was exciting and the ending was dramatic. Most important was the chance to be among the 108 thousand fans that witnessed this event.

  • Allstar 2010 was unforgettable

  • ALL-STAR Game unreal

Jerry world did a fantastic job. Security wasn't bad either. just a hassle.

  • by Anonymous on 2/15/10Cowboys Stadium - ArlingtonRating: 5 out of 5

This was my son and I first All Star experience and it was simple fantastic. The server's, food, view, and ability to move around once in the building was very wonderful. The only areas that created concern for us was the inconvinence of having to park on the opposite side of the building where we were required to enter and stand for approximately and hour before entering the building. I would have like to received some a note indicating that we would NOT be permitted to enter the building until 5:30pm. Additionally, I would like to share my thought to the NBA that the All Star game is a very anticipated event each year for many fans. And, a large percentage of the fans appear to be school age children that are required to attend school Mondau morning and Sunday night is considered a school night for many school district. Getting our children home after midnight and to bed makes is very rough for students. Overall, our experience was fantastic and giving the opportunity in the future we will participate.
