  • Awesome, even in the last row!

by LBMAVSFAN on 2/15/10Cowboys Stadium - ArlingtonRating: 5 out of 5

For the type of event it was, everything was superb! We were in the last row of the entire stadium and still had a blast! The all stars, entertainment, and excitement of breaking the GWR made this an unforgettable experience...plus our hometown boy (Dirk) got to start for the West. My only complaints are the horribly uncomfortable seats in the upper section and parking. The ACC (American Airlines Center) treats its less affluent customers much better, seat wise, and getting out of the parking lot after the game took us 1 hr. We sat in our parking space (Lot A of the Rangers) and watched crazy people driving around in circles trying to figure out the best way to exit the lot since they had closed off the entrances we used at the beginning of the game! On a side note: I would not recommend this facility at all for a regular basketball game...too far away from the action unless you had the expensive seats/hard to hear at times...sitting at any level, the American Airlines Center rocks for regular Mavs games (we're regulars!)

  • Amazing happens right here in Arlington Tx

  • nba all-star game

    by potts34 on 2/15/10Cowboys Stadium - ArlingtonRating: 5 out of 5

all was ok but there should have been more microphones on or near the court so you could hear the action. The MAVS do this and it makes the game much more enjoyable. It makes it feel like you are part of the game.

  • DIRK NOWITZKI!!

    by Luna75 on 2/15/10Cowboys Stadium - ArlingtonRating: 5 out of 5

The event was amazing...however, I expected a way better performance from the west...I spend enough money for this and I was hoping to see them in their best performance but they had enough mistakes to lose the game...Nonetheless, the event was great, awesome setting, and great security. I will definetly go again...

  • NBA All-Star 2010 was amazing

by Anonymous on 2/15/10Cowboys Stadium - ArlingtonRating: 5 out of 5

I have never attended a function so unbelievable. Cowboy Stadium was a great venue for staging the All-Star game. I knew it would be awesome but being a part of of something so huge and being there in person was something I will never forget.

  • All-Star was about the fans

    by Rodney29 on 2/15/10Cowboys Stadium - ArlingtonRating: 5 out of 5

Whether you were in the stands or on the floor the fans made history with 108,000+ in attendance

  • Every NBA fan should attend an All Star Game!

by lakerfaninsa on 2/15/10Cowboys Stadium - ArlingtonRating: 5 out of 5

This was my second NBA All Star Game to attend and it was well worth it. I will say that sitting in the fourth level of the cavernous Cowboys Stadium made us feel a bit removed from the action, but seeing the game on the big screens was an experience. Not quite as awesome a game without Kobe, but it did have a great ending. Too bad Dirk didn't get the chance to be the hometown hero, but that's how it goes.

  • Parking

by Diverse on 2/15/10Cowboys Stadium - ArlingtonRating: 4 out of 5

Our overall experience was great, BUT, and I do mean BUT, the parking was crazy. If you have a parking pass, why would you issue parking pass so far away from the gate we had to actually come in? We passed 2 other parking areas that would have been better for the gate we had to go in.

Event was nice; bogus ticket holder had to be asked to leave one of our seats.

  • More than Expected

by boozach on 2/15/10Cowboys Stadium - ArlingtonRating: 5 out of 5

Congrats to the NBA, Jerry Jones and Mark Cuban along the many workers for these folks that put together a great show---I was a skeptic going in and just went so my son could attend as a father/son bonding event---but hey it was great the entertainment, the game and the facility. Only complaint was traffic congestion that appeared to happen because not enough parking lots were open---my son and I were at the first Cowboys game as well and the parking/traffic went better. Thanks guys for the memories for my son and myself!!!!!

Good organization for so many coming. Music during game was aweful-like the ringtones on a phone-was it a synthesizer?

  • All-Star game was average!!!

    by Mailman01 on 2/15/10Cowboys Stadium - ArlingtonRating: 3 out of 5

The entertainment at the game was well worth the price of admission. Usher, Alicia Keys & Shakira what a show. The game itself was a pretty good game when you could see it. The Staduim was just too big for a basketball game. We were located in section 243, which I thought would be good seats. It was like we were sitting in the nose bleed section of any other basketball arena. Will never go see another basketball game in a football staduim.

  • NBA All Star Game Did Not Disappoint

by PaulinCoppell on 2/15/10Cowboys Stadium - ArlingtonRating: 5 out of 5

What an event! Cuban and Jones must be proud of what went on yesterday. We sat in the upper most section and we had the best view for the money. We were straight on the big screen. You watched the big screen 90% of the time. The players stats were a major improvement over the TX vs UNT game. Great job. The only suggestion on the video screen is when a replay is playing, have a PIP on the live game. You can get away with it in football, but in basketball, you miss the next play. The other major improvement is the smaller screen under the large screen for the lower levels. Didn't pay any attention to this but the people below certainly did watching the replays and live performances. Speaking of live performances, thank goodness we didn't go retro with "The Who". Alicia Keys was incredible! Lastly, the pre-game audio was terrible but improved when the game started. It must have been a back up system.

  • NBA All-Star Practice

by SuzieJohnston on 2/15/10Dallas Convention Center - DallasRating: 4 out of 5

I have been going to the NBA all-star practice sessions for over 10 years, and there seems to be less and less emphasis on "practice" and more and more emphasis on Guinness world records. I know that practice is run by the coaches. Phil Jackson and Gregg Popovich are two coaches that actually have had the players run drills and plays. It would be great if the session would go back to being a practice session so that new fans can get a real life insight feel for how a real NBA practice is conducted.

  • You had to be there!

    by ThunderFan2 on 2/15/10Cowboys Stadium - ArlingtonRating: 5 out of 5

Going to the NBA All-Star game was an experience that my husband and I won't soon forget! We were there supporting the West but supporting our Thunder guys!! The stadium is awesome! The entertainment was unending and the game was so much fun to watch. Even if we had to watch it on the Jumbotron...I think is what I heard it called!! I am so glad we were able to go. I would go again in a heartbeat!
