Event was just okay!
by YellowM on 2/16/10Cowboys Stadium - ArlingtonRating: 1 out of 5We got there before the game started and walked to an entrance. I realized this isn't like American Airlines Center & can enter whichever gate & walk around until I find my section. We had to enter through a specific gate entrance. Ughhh!!!! There must have been 1000 people waiting through that entrance and it only had like 4 security people checking us. We would only take 2 baby steps every 5 minutes. It made many of us mad that we were all bundled together taking baby steps, yet there were groups of people going around all us to skip the line. I would suggest having ropes or security next time to watch the line. Finally, after a 40 minute wait in line, we made it in. I won't be all negative here, I must say the halftime show was awesome. During the 3rd quarter we decided to get some Papa John's pizza. We asked where we could buy it& 4 workers said only on the Main Concourse floor. Then I asked some security guard where the elevators/escalators were & he said we could only take the concrete walkway. The elevators were only for the suites. STUPID!!!!!!!! We finally made it to the Main Concourse & the Papa John's people told us they were out of pizzas. They said we could try at their only other location directly across the stadium. We attempted to walk all the way around but were stopped because YOU ARE NOT ABLE TO GO AROUND ALL THE WAY ON THAT FLOOR. It's gated. We asked & they said we had to go to the 4th floor & walk all the way around & then come down. STUPID STUPID STUPID again. Why are there only 2 pizza locations and why are they only on the Main Floor? I'm pregnant so why are there no escalators or elevators for us regular people? If there are, why isn't your staff better trained to direct traffic? Needless to say, I was hoping that since we paid all that $$ and didn't even get a free small gift or something like we always do at the Mavs Games. There was nothing spectacular that stood out to me about this event besides the peole on the court.
