    Wow! Just Wow!

by tnpocket on 3/12/15U.S. Cellular Stage at the Bijou Theatre - Knoxville

OK..this one was close to getting five stars. Here is what kept it from being amazing! The props were barely there....seriously, there were only 2-3 throughout the whole show. During the songs--sometime I had a hard time understanding the lyrics. That was most likely caused from the sound equipment and not the actor. Other than those two minor problems, for me this was fantastic. Keep in mind that there is lots of crude humor--it is 50 shades mind you. The acting was great and kept the audience engaged. There were hardly down times where I wasn't laughing. Definitely recommend to any fan of 50! Beware---when you meet Christian--you will be shocked in a good way---he was amazing!!!

    HATED!!!!!!!!

by Julie502015 on 3/11/15U.S. Cellular Stage at the Bijou Theatre - Knoxville

This performance proved every negative remark anyone has had about the 50 Shades series: derogatory of women abuse, controlling, etc. I did not believe or see this when reading the book or seeing the movie. This parody/interpretation reinforced all the negativity that was being voiced in addition to CRUDE, RUDE, VULGAR, and SOCIALLY UNACCEPTABLE! It is a sad state that we are living in where there arepeople laughing and enjoying this vulgarity. The WORSE parody I have ever seen!

Great musical parody. I have never laughed so hard. Well put together. I would definitely recommend this play even if you haven't indulged in the books.

    Raunchy Non-Stop Laughter

by BrieB18 on 3/10/15U.S. Cellular Stage at the Bijou Theatre - Knoxville

This production is filled with smutty references, naughty name calling, erotic education, and just about everything you would assume there to be...but so much more! The cast was phenomenal and every scene had us bursting with giggles. From innocent Ana to smooth Christian and all the sexy characters in-between, we couldn't tear our eyes away from the stage! Such a fun and unexpectedly riotous romp. Loved it and would love to go again!

    50 Shades was hysterical!

by jtownrealtor on 3/10/15The Orpheum Theatre Memphis - Memphis

This show was done so well! It was hysterical from the very beginning. It was a date night for my husband and I and it was perfect. Yes it was raunchy, crude, embarrassing at moments but have a drink before and let your gaurd down. It was fun and set the tone for the evening for the fun to continue!

I've seen better high school productions

by SouthMainStreet on 3/9/15The Orpheum Theatre Memphis - Memphis

I expected the performance to be saucy, based on the book, but I wasn't prepared for how downright stupid and "juvenile" the script was. This was a total waste of money and time.

    50 Shades

by Memphisreviewer on 3/9/15The Orpheum Theatre Memphis - Memphis

This was a hilarious play, very enjoyable. However the audio was fair, I was able to hear about 75% of the dialogues and song lyrics.

2 hours of non-stop entertainment! Probably wouldn't take Granny to see this because it's pretty raunchy, but the audience laughed the entire time!

    Not worth the money

by Trisha6666 on 3/9/15Peoria Civic Center - Peoria

The idea of the play was good, however, felt it was an amateur production. Our local theatre(East Light) puts on a better production for half the price. It was very fast paced, I had seen the movie, so at least had idea of what the parody was about, but they could have slowed it down some. felt rushed.
