Great show! Got there a lil late so missed the first opener, but caught Angels and Airwaves full set! Sucks that they only had an hour, but they packed in a great set with most of my favorite songs. Didn’t stay for Cage the Elephant. But I’m sure they were good and played that one song I know by them!
The 1975 didn’t go on until about 9:45 and the first band started at 7. It was insanely crowded and there were too many tickets sold, and some people even got heat exhaustion from the crowd.
The show was amazing, full of nonstop energy! touched on so many songs you forgot you have listened for years. The Aragon is the coolest venue going, staff is fantastic! Don't miss an opportunity to see a show there.
The show was great! We were able to be close to band/the front, even though we didn't camp overnight. We were like 3rd row, and got super close once The 1975 came out. They put on one of the most energized and fun shows I've ever been to. Absolutely loved it. The event was ran well. The opening acts were okay, but I definitely recommend seeing The 1975!
Wkqx picked the worst opening acts ever for this show. They completely ruined the show as much as possible. Constant adverts, interruptions, and terrible openers. Don’t go to radio shows.. go to band shows. 75 killed it tho.
Cage the Elephant is completely amazing and are always such fun (So was Angels & Airwaves). The Aragon Ballroom is a great place to see a show and the staff (security and all others were exceptional). My only complaint is some of the people on the floor in the audience were ruthless and aggressive. They don't want to get to the venue early enough to secure a place in front so they push and shove everyone around them until they bully you out of the way. It's a good way to ruin a show for everyone around them. Really uncool. Point is I'm not sure general admission is a safe experience anymore.
Awesome! Awesome!! Awesome!!! Awesome!!!! Awesome!!!!!!
This was my first concert and it was truly unforgettable. I had a great time with great people and I’m definitely doing it again.
Cage has been one of my favorite bands for years, but this show was dreadful. Every song was blasted out with too much bass, too little nuance, and a steady parade of silly and distracting performance art costume routines. Hat on, hat off, mask on, mask off, different hat on, different mask, now the mask is a hat... Would have so much preferred a more subtle approach that lets great songs and vocals emerge. This was just a blast of noise and silly theater.
CAGE THE ELEPHANT NEVER DISAPPOINTS, THEY KILLED THE SHOW
