070 Shake on Tour

An enigma that is difficult to characterize and one of the most unique voices in contemporary rap, 070 Shake hit the road for a 24-stop summer tour across the United States. This tour comes off the heels of her 2020 breakthrough album Modus Vivendi (which translates to "way of life" in Latin), but also serves as the prelude for her June 2022 release, You Can't Kill Me Because I Don't Exist. 070 Shake made her first mark in 2016 with the single "Trust Nobody," which caught the attention of Def Jam and Kanye West's GOOD music label. 070 Shake was signed later that year and she's been growing both in talent and audience ever since. In 2018, Shake was thrust into the mainstream when she co-opted the hit release "Ghost Town" from West's album release Ye with an infectious and vibrant hook that captivated millions. She is also credited with features on Pusha-T's 2018 album Daytona. See 070 Shake in concert today.

070 Shake Live in Concert

Born Danielle Balbuena in North Bergen, New Jersey, Shake is of Dominican descent. She attended North Bergen High School and spent her free time on the school's girls basketball team and writing poetry. She also joined the 070 crew around that time (the 070 comes from the various Jersey zip codes the members hail from). The crew, which includes (but is not limited to) Ralphy River, Tree Safari, Phi, Malick, Razsy Beats, Ether Phoenix, and J-Sebastian released their first collaborative project in December of 2016 titled The 070 Project: Chapter 1. Shake's most popular hit is titled "Guilty Conscience" and comes from her 2020 debut album Modus Vivendi. There remix version of "Guilty Conscience" by Grammy-nominated group Tame Impala. Both versions of "Guilty Conscience" have nearly 70 million combined streams on Spotify and another 9 million plays on YouTube. Releases from Shake in 2022 include a guest feature spot on Madonna's single "Frozen" and "Lose My Cool" featuring NLE Choppa and Skin and Bones, which is also the lead single of her 2022 release You Can't Kill Me Because I Don't Exist.

by parishilton on 1/28/25The Ritz - RaleighRating: 2 out of 5

Arrived at 8:30 thinking I'd skip the opener, he started at 9. He was great - this review is not about him. Then at almost 10pm, 070 comes out behind a bed sheet screaming. There was no production value, it felt like something you'd perform in middle school for your friend's parents. Low budget vibes. I am not ignorant to the fact that her music is different/a little alternative, and I wasn't expecting a normal show, but this was flat out bad.

  • INCREDIBLE

by Julia on 4/14/24Rating: 5 out of 5

Saw her when she opened for Kid Cudi and she was incredible, great stage presence, and a lyrical genius. Her vocals are CRAZY. A must see if you ever have the chance.

Can’t wait to go to a concert where 070 Shake is the headline. As an opener for kid comido, the show was amazing. I’m a fan. Can’t wait to see the next show. I may even have to travel to see the next show.

  • 070-A Connected Audience

by LM on 5/31/22House of Blues Houston - HoustonRating: 5 out of 5

070 Shake is the core example for my preference of a performer. She engaged the entire audience and had us all connect to one another. I truly felt like one with her. She vibed and did whatever she felt like on stage showing the audience that it’s okay to move your body how you want no matter what it looks like.

Artist didn’t communicate with security that she would be inviting people on stage. When people were invited it caused a lot of fans in the crowd to push those against the barricade, forcing their way through. As well as the artist encouraged a mash pit when there was very little space causing a lot of people to get squished up to the front.

  • Unbelievable

by Chodihighroller on 5/30/22House of Blues Houston - HoustonRating: 5 out of 5

070 Shake aka Dani Moon exceeded my expectations. She loved her fans as much as her music.

  • Was the best experience in my life

by Samuel on 5/29/22House of Blues Dallas - DallasRating: 5 out of 5

The energy and the love was all in the crowd of people. Was like we was all connected in one energy, best thing I’ve experienced in a while, for sure will come to another 070 Shake concert.

by melissa on 5/29/22House of Blues Dallas - DallasRating: 5 out of 5

the wait wasn’t too long, I was able to comfortably buy awesome merchandise, meet dani, have my photo taken with her, followed by the amazing show she performed! I’m embarrassed of how shy I was haha! but everything was great: the architecture of the venue, the lights, the sound, the interaction with the crowd, loved it. I’m ready to see Dani for the 3rd time! <3

  • BEST EXPERIENCE EVER! NOTHING CAN TOP THIS.

by Mac Noel on 5/18/22The Fillmore Silver Spring - Silver SpringRating: 5 out of 5

This concert was absolutely insane! We bought meet & greet tickets, and the whole experience was wonderful. The check-in was easy. And 070 Shake was so lovely, humble, and down to earth. At one point Shake called a few fans on stage to dance... I was one of them!!! It was incredible! Never seen anything like it. And I will never forget it. Also, while I was on stage Shake checked on me to see if I was ok... She is SO SWEET!!!

  • Best show of 2022 yet

by Drew on 5/18/22The Fillmore Silver Spring - Silver SpringRating: 5 out of 5

Knew nothing of Johan before the show and was really impressed with the composition and lyrical content. He’s a cool dude, hung around after the show to chat with attendees at the merch table and make a personal connection with everyone. Only recently heard of 070 Shake and fell in love with her music instantly. Booked this show on a whim and was blown away at the production value and how involved the crowd was. I wasn’t sure what to expect with the vocal layering and effects she uses in studio recordings but she sounds almost identical in real life. Left the venue already stoked to see them again!

  • Best Beautiful Night Out

    by Z on 5/15/22Théâtre Corona - MontrealRating: 5 out of 5

She’s an amazing singer on stage. She is so good at expressing the emotions in the songs. Lots lots of love, most amazing night since the pandemic started.

  • ONCE IN A LIFETIME!!!!!

by GRATEFUL on 5/11/22House of Blues Chicago - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

The security team was hospitable, very kind, understanding, and helpful. Johan Lenox & 070 Shake were absolutely PHENOMENAL!!! I would recommend The House of Blues to bring them back someday in the future they’ll sell out AGAIN. I’ll forever remember this concert!!! : )

  • Mesmerizing

by Dianna on 5/11/22House of Blues Chicago - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

This is my second time time seeing 070 Shake and my first time ever attending House of Blues. It was such a memorable and high-adrenaline fueling experience that it’s a must for everyone to experience. I’ve been going to shows for years but I would honestly have to give my number 1 must-see artist to 070 Shake. The energy, the performance and the all the she gives to them. Mesmerizing.
