The usual high quality, fun, addicting performance by YYNOT

by AnAmericanFan on 10/17/22Resorts Atlantic City - Atlantic City

We had fourth row seats. Some told me that the sections up front were reserved for comps. Well they might have been but I had no trouble getting great seats. Acoustics were fantastic. After a few other YYNOT shows that I attended in the last week where the sound mix was off, the vocals in this venue were crystal clear and not overwhelming. I’d see another show at this venue again.

    Excellence and Youth

by Magellan on 10/17/22Resorts Atlantic City - Atlantic City

The Drummer and Lead Guitar were world class. Bass was good and the singer was still learning to work with the band and basically bounced around the stage.

    Awesome band

by John on 10/17/22Resorts Atlantic City - Atlantic City

Make sure you listen to their originals before seeing the show. They throw you a couple of rush songs but the show is mostly their own work. Highly recommended, just don’t expect a Rush cover band.

Fantastic musicianship, great energy, great vibe!

by James Greco on 10/17/22Resorts Atlantic City - Atlantic City

YYNOT is so much more than a Rush tribute band. In fact, I’d love to here even more of their originals at their shows. Every album their style is evolving into more complexed arrangements and the addition of Patty on vocals adds the extra punch to complete the band. Highly recommend seeing them, a must see band!

    Great show- amazing musicians!

by Marc on 10/17/22Resorts Atlantic City - Atlantic City

Great show - about as close as I think you will get to sounding like RUSH. Maybe even better in some respects on the older Rush material as their singer Patty is a young female and sings with pashion and can hit the highs like Geddy used to in his prime. Definitely worth seeing for any Rush fan. And they sprinkle in some of their own original music (now they have 3 of their own records), and they sounded awesome

When something’s good you tend to repeat it. 5th show!

by AnAmericanFan on 10/10/22Penn's Peak - Jim Thorpe

I saw YYNOT the night before this show at Penn’s Peak. I needed the second night. Penn’s Peak is a fantastic venue to see any show. It is this band’s lead guitarist’s favorite venue. The band never disappoints. I go to many concerts, many fine ones at Penn’s Peak. This group is musicianship at its absolute most accomplished and finest. The lead guitarist, Billy Alexander is a prolific and damn good song writer not to mention his guitar skills are insane (try following his fingering!). The bass player, Tim Starace is such a fine player that his bass lines are often front forward in the mix where they should be for such a virtuoso (plus he always has fun onstage!). The drummer, Mike Hetzel…how often do you find yourself fixating on a band’s drummer. In Hetzel’s case you note his effortless precise and innovative style (as with Starace, always looks like he’s having a great time). The singer? Where to start? Patty Pershayla has the powerful and confident voice, the swagger and attitude plus the charisma to pull it all together center stage. She immerses herself in the role. In total, high level musicianship between a group of four who clearly like each other and it shows onstage. It is infectious. They do both spot on Rush covers as well as their own original material from 3 cd’s so far. Make it your business to see them. If you’re a rabid Rush fan or even a mild one, YYNOT is for you.
