I was unable to attend when the show first came to Minneapolis in 97 and I am so glad that I made it this time. Everything was so beautifully crafted from set design, costume design, choreography- it was all awesome. The singing was mind blowing I commend all of the actors, the . The strength and emotion came through with every note. As the show opened I along with others in the crowd were amazed at the costumes and designs. Everything is so fitting and adds to the story - I would go see this show over and over again.
It was everything I’ve been told it was, which was nothing but great things.. loved every second of it!
We were very pleased with the show. We had high expectations of the show, and we got what we expected.
A lot of emotions were evoked throughout the phenomenal play. Costumes, backdrops, music, and actors are all first class! Loved how some of the actors made their way onto the stage. Come back soon!
The show and almost everything about the experience was amazing! My only complaint is about the line for the women's bathroom that extends through the entire length of the only hallway. I feel like a second bathroom and different way of forming the line would be much easier for everyone during a short intermission.
Props and stage lighting amazed. Mufasa exuded the aura of a wise and strong king. Talented singers-Young cubs, the baboon, and Scar and the all character numbers were especially rewarding.
Took my 6 girls-ages 12-40. It was a fantastic experience that left us knowing a new tradition started. The costumes. music and acting left us mesmerized -thank you for bringing Broadway to Minneapolis.
I’ve seen this since the premiere five times. Always good, always new, always surprising! Love it!
Filled with wonderful music, acting, and dancing! Breathtaking performance!
