About

Rod Stewart in Concert

With his 1978 No. 1 single, Rod Stewart famously asked the world "Da Ya Think I'm Sexy?" 100 million record sales later, it's safe to say the world answered "Yes." As one of the top-selling artists of all time, with a career spanning four decades, the British singer-songwriter is one of the most celebrated figures in rock and roll history. The times may have changed, but Stewart's appeal hasn't - with his 28th studio album, 2013's Time, the raspy crooner once again topped the UK Albums Chart - the first time he'd done so since the release of his Greatest Hits Volume 1 in 1979. Stewart got his start as a solo artists in the early '70s, achieving his first mainstream success with blues rock hit "Maggie May" from 1971's Every Picture Tells a Story. In the late '70s and early '80s, the singer would adopt disco and new wave influences to much success, including the 1978 No. 1 Blondes Have More Fun and 1981's Tonight I'm Yours, which featured the hit "Young Turks." On tour, Stewart treats ticket buyers to rollicking sets of his greatest hits, proving that "Rod the Mod" still knows how to give one heck of a live concert.

    Very disappointed

by MBA78 on 2/13/24Hard Rock Live Northern Indiana - Gary

I have seen Rod Stewart in concert before. This time the concert lasted an hour and 45 minutes. He sang a couple of his own songs and a few of other singers. He did not come out at the end, and thank people for coming or give any indication that he was finished with the concert. The female singers with him sang a medley, and then they were done. They left the stage and that was it. I was quite shocked. Rod Stewart is always very personable with his audience, and not so much this time. It made me wonder if he was not feeling well. Still it would’ve been nice for him to thank the people for coming and let him do one last number so that we all knew he was finished. People were just sitting there, thinking that he would come back out and he didn’t. For the money we spent for the tickets. Very disappointing .

    Rod Stewart “Forever Young”!

by Ageless Hoosiers on 2/13/24Hard Rock Live Northern Indiana - Gary

Second time seeing Rod Stewart after more than 10 years and he hasn’t lost a beat. Awesome band as well. We can truly say it’s one of the best we’ve seen. He was very entertaining and energetic. Set list was great. Did many songs we hoped to hear along with others that made us remember those times when we’re all having fun. Thank you, Rod!

    Exhilarating

by Hobbs on 2/13/24Hard Rock Live Northern Indiana - Gary

Great show! Cast including the band was fantastic. Rod still has the moves but has lost a bit of that raspiness in his voice. Wonderful performance all around.

    Disappointed

by Sue on 2/13/24Hard Rock Live Northern Indiana - Gary

I am a Rod Stewart fan club member. I have been for many years. I was so disappointed at the end of the concert. USUALLY Rod Stewart comes out at least for one encore. NOTHING AT ALL!! Not even a Thank you Good night! I was so shocked and deeply sad about this. I know Rod Stewart is not going to care, but it something that I needed to let out!

    Fun Concert. No cutain call

by Steve C. on 2/13/24Hard Rock Live Northern Indiana - Gary

Saw Rod Feb 10, 2024 at Hard Rock Casino in Gary. At 79, he still sounds great. Only complaint was there was no curtain call. The concert ended. Lights were still dim. The song No Business Like Show Business played. I thought he would come back after the song, but nope, lights came on and it was time to go. No biggie. He played 90 minutes+ so all good, just unexpected.

Great time was had by all!

by Denise on 2/13/24Hard Rock Live Northern Indiana - Gary

Never have been at this venue before. People were friendly and enthusiastic to help us find where we needed to be. They even gave us advice on avoiding standing in the snakelike line. Rod played for an hour and 40 minutes. His band/orchestra was amazing. Would definitely come back. 😃

    Awesome as usual

by Shawn R on 2/13/24Hard Rock Live Northern Indiana - Gary

Rod Stewart is one of my favorite performers to see live. This was the fourth time I've seen him in recent years. I like that he mixed up the setlist a bit. My favorites were Every Picture tells a Story and Have you ever seen the rain? On the downside there was no encore which appeared to surprise the audience. Also during a couple of songs there were two bright green lights pointed directly at the audience. They were center stage so during those songs you could not see the performers. A shame as there were a number of solos done during these times and you could barely tell there was someone on stage. My first time at the venue. I sat in the back which was raised a bit with lots of leg room and padded seats. The floor seats appeared to be folding chairs.

by NGK on 2/13/24Hard Rock Live Northern Indiana - Gary

Rod Stewart put on a fabulous show at the Hard Rock Casino in Gary, lndiana. He showed a bit of energy for 79 years old. 5 female back up singers stole the show! 2 hours plus. Of course he took a few breaks.

The Hits and a Great show.

    by Jimmy K. on 2/11/24

August 7th will be Rod Stewart's 200th and final show at the Ceasars Colesium. It will be our 5th and final time seeing him there. No two shows were the same and every show was just as if not more entertaining than the one before. Great venue. Great performance.

    by Saul on 1/10/24

An astonishing experience, Rod is my all-time favorite artist alive and this show did not disappoint 1 bit, not only he can still deliver a great performance, but the entire band is a spectacular show full of music, visuals, and a spiritual experience. Anyone that knows and understands music and entertainment will not be disappointed. God bless Rod and everyone involved.

Ceasar's needs to fix screens for back rows!

by Georgia on 11/27/23The Colosseum at Caesars Palace - Las Vegas

Rod was fantastic as usual, however, Ceasar's really needs to have someone sit in the various seats to gauge the view....we were in the upper back and the screens only showed the bottom half of the performers the entire show.

    Really shows your age

by Vicki S on 11/27/23The Colosseum at Caesars Palace - Las Vegas

Rod has turned into Mr Las Vegas - his show was entertaining but his voice has faded and he let his 6 sparkly girls crazy the show with their own solos and dancing. Its all fine entertainment, but its not the Rod Stewart I loved.
