    Chuggington wasn't all that.

by Grover999 on 4/15/15Fox Theatre Detroit - Detroit

we paid for the VIP package to get stage seating. This area had terrible acoustics and the orchestra pit floor felt unstable throughout the show. The show itself was repetitive, boring and challenging for younger children to understand. At best it was trains rolling to music The lighting was decent.

    Pricey

by MorherOF1 on 3/1/15Lexington Opera House - Lexington

This event was quite pricey given how short the performance was.

    Chuggington was pretty cute

by pookie0126 on 3/1/15Star Plaza Theatre - Merrillville

Was a cute show for my 4 yr old. His favorite parts were when the people got the audience involved, choo chooing, singing and cheering.

    Toddler Loved Chuggington!!!

by Squirt2012 on 2/26/15Star Plaza Theatre - Merrillville

Better than expected. I wasn't sure how they were going to do a musical with trains. But it worked very well. I liked how they involved the kids as well as the adults. Could have given us a heads up that they were starting.

The production could have been a little bit better as far as the quality of the show. The fact that there were people in the show kind of threw it off since there are no people in the actual cartoon. Also, the dancing was a little strange since the show is about a trains. The kids seemed to enjoy it however I was on the verge of falling asleep. I would definitely recommend this show to others. Maybe if it were a little more interactive or if the set was a little more believable it would have been good for me too.

    Chuggington was a joy

by NW88 on 2/25/15Lexington Opera House - Lexington

I had never experienced a venue for children before and was pleasantly surprised at treatment we received at Chuggington, Live! The staff and volunteers at the Lexington Opera House went out of their way to assure we received all the perks that our ticket purchase had promised. I was unaware that I had purchased VIP tickets and was supposed to receive packet of items as memorabilia for the show. To watch the joy and awe on a 3 year old's face was priceless. The content of the show contained many 'teaching moments' and they were re-emphasized throughout the program. I would personally recommend this to friends and family.

This show was adorable. My two and a half year old son wouldn't stop dancing and pointing to all the trains. Trains were well made and the actors/actresses did a great job. My only complaint was the lack of toys/things to buy. They had adorable shirts, but only had a cup, strobe light, and a book. While most parents would approve of the lack of things to buy I was hoping to buy something that would be more lasting of a toy than something I bought for that one night and tossed out a few days later.

We will Choo-Choo-Choose to see again!

by JennyMomma on 2/24/15Star Plaza Theatre - Merrillville

The show was fantastic! It not only kept our kids (2 and 3 years old) entertained, but my husband and I as well. I really liked the incorporation of dancers, the costumed train characters, puppets and the movie screen background. One of the dancers was an extension of one of the trains and her outfit was the same color from head to toe which was a nice blend. The music and songs were upbeat and fitting and audience participation from kids to adults was encouraged often (counting down, clapping, pretending to blow a whistle, standing up, etc.). We absolutely enjoyed the show and would both recommend it and see it again!
