It was one of the best shows I’ve seen and I’ve seen plenty of concerts, Katie is quite the entertainer and her voice just reaches out to people, it’s a funny thing someone I know did a reenactment of Katie getting shaved by Cindy Crawford “I have that Vanity Fair magazine” she asked me does Katie still tour !!! So I will ask you does she plan to tour again ??? John
Her voice is even more beautiful today than when she was younger...it’s incredible I didn’t think it was possible, heavenly!

Wow! Just wow! I didn't know what I was in for. I only knew a couple of kd lang's songs prior to this show and though I liked them very much, I hadn't taken the time to dig into her catalog. I was going to be in Nashville on vacation and was told that I should catch a show at the historic Ryman if I could. My choices during my stay were kd and Loverboy so I chose kd lang because the date worked out better for me. I am SO glad that I chose this show! I don't know if it was the acoustics in this venue (which were impeccable) or kd lang's voice or her incredibly talented band, probably all of it, but my friends and I left the show floating on a cloud. Reading other reviews, it seems that the effect was the same all around. Her voice was like an angel's, better than any recordings I have heard of hers, strong but full of emotion. She had great chemistry with her band and she was absolutely charming, funny, slightly political, and held her audience captive. One of the best concerts I have ever attended and I have been to a lot of shows! My friends and I are still talking about it. I will definitely see her again, even though the venues near me don't compare to the Ryman.
I absolutely LOVED k.d. lang's performance at the Majestic Theater in San Antonio, Texas! Since PBS filmed it, I will be waiting to see/purchase the DVD!
KD Langs performance was awesome. My first time of seeing her live, now able to cross her off my bucket-list. They were filming her that night, and the camera blocked my view half of the night. That is the only reason I didn't give her 5 stars. Would have also liked to hear "Crying & Sexuality". Love my KD!!!

This was the best performance I’ve seen to date and I’ve seen hundreds of performances at the Majestic. A voice as smooth as silk and as powerful as an earthquake. True emotion thank you for sharing your true God given talent with the world.
I would have walked through the snow barefoot and paid what I paid for my seat just to hear k.d. sing "Hallelujah." But I didn't have to, as she had the audience clapping and standing all night long! Her band was excellent and could cut their own orchestral album, although they blended perfectly with k.d.'s voice. And what a voice it is! I listened to a 30-year old CD on the way to the show and found she's just getting better! Great personality and stage presence. Highly recommend.
KD Lang was great. I wish I had been told my seats in orchestra would have been obstructed by a camera crane. I would have picked different seats.
