The Culture Room is not my favorite venue and I'll mostly skip shows there, but, I couldn't miss this one. I'm glad I didn't. Steve and the boys were in top form. Every song that a Dregs fan was hoping for was played. And, best yet in a live show these days, the sound was very good. We don't get that too much and I appreciate it any time we do.
Tighter and better show than in 2018 particularly with Rudess in lineup. But seemed like Rudess and West are turned down a bit in the mix which I noticed bass/keys down in 2018 as well. Still they all seemed to be having fun and the set list is definitely good. If youre Dregs fan you'll love it.
The Dixie Dregs are my all-time favorite band and this concert was worth the long wait to see them again, and didn't disappoint. Jordan Rudess from Dream Theater on the keyboards was a nice surprise. I would have stayed there for 10 hours if they would have played that long.
Never got to see them back in the day so this was special.Steve was fantastic, the sounds he can get from his guitar, still playing like he is 25.The rest of the band were excellent and sound was good. The cherry on top was Jordan joining in.Thanks so much guys we truly loved the show.
A band of unparalleled musicianship. A Great Spectacular ! Brought me back to 1980 High School
I have seen the Steve Morse Band and the Dixie Dregs literally countless times. On more than one occasion front row tables at the old Musicians Exchange in Fort Lauderdale seeing back to back two SMB shows on Friday night and two on Saturday night. With Steve looking at me like he was having deja vu. And then mouthing the words to me "Again!?"This show in particular with both the Dregs and SMB may have been the tightest and most outstanding of them all. You could tell that they were all having fun. Only disappointment was Van Romain was not able to make this show but the drummer who sat in for him was phenomenal and knew every Beat. I certainly hope this is not their last shows. They were at the top of their game no reason to quit now.
Absolutely amazing to see such a talented team of musicians. Spot on perfect performance. Iâve been a fan since 1977 and went to JFK high school with Rod.
Great band, very talented members specially Steve Morse and Jordan Rudess!!.Excellent music !!!
It was really cool to see both SMB and Dixie Dregs at the same time. Steve Morse, Andy West and Jordan Rudess were amazing. Their final song will really impress. 2 bass players, 2 drummers. Don't cheat yourself... go see these guys.
